Re: Blue Lotus Teacup Dragon

Username: ~IchigoSunset~

Dragon's name: Lotalia

Gender: Female

Personality: This dragon is very mild, and well behaved, brave too! The dragon tends to keep to itself, not liking noise, or fussy interactions. It loves to be underwater, since sound is drowned out underwater, and it loves music, especially soft, relaxing music. It is very friendly to other dragons, and humans. It never attacks, unless when threatened, or when hunting.

Short story starring this dragon (Maximum 700 words): The Blue Lotus Teacup Dragon has a long history behind it, being admired by people all over the world, it's legend traveling far and wide. Here is the story: There once was a girl, a small child. She lived in a small village, not far from a large lake. She was loved by everyone, because of her kindness, and good nature. One day, a large dragon, living in a cave by the lake had run out of livestock, and food, so it decided to wander towards the village. It caused a big uproar in the village, and the villagers started to attack the dragon. The dragon captured the small girl as hostage, and took it to it's cave, where he planned to keep her as a slave, in payment for the attack. Meanwhile, the Blue Lotus Teacup Dragon, hearing of this, was determined to get the small girl back. The Blue Lotus was often teased by other dragons, for being so mild and unintimidating, but the girl had always cheered it up. The Blue Lotus cared deeply for the girl, and was riled up on getting the girl back. It snuck into the bigger dragon's cave, and helped get her out, by using it's claws to cut the binds on her hands. Then, the Blue Lotus, full of bravery, scratched the dragon's eyes out, to make sure he didn't cause any more trouble, blinding it permanently. The dragon, traumatized and ashamed of losing to a smaller dragon, cowered in it's cave for the rest of it's life, while the Blue Lotus dragon was idolized in the village, as a sign or bravery and courage. The legend of it's courage traveled far and wide, passed on from generation to generation. Today, The Blue Lotus Dragon continues living, and whenever people see one, or any signs or it, it was a sign of good luck for them. And that they would be protected by the courageous dragon, wherever they were.

Other (optional): The Blue Lotus Dragon mainly feeds on fish, or insects, as it's meal. It doesn't like the taste of cow or sheep meat, preferring small prey.

{b e l l e f l e u r ..*} little teacup short and stout...

Username: Hello, my username is Equinesta. I am a Teacup Dragon non-owner. This is the first Teacup I have tried out for and I hope I can call Fleur mine.

Dragon's name: Her name is Belle Fleur, French for "Beautiful flower". But many Teacups call her Fleur for simplicity's sake. Her nicknames are Lotus, Fleur, Blue, Belle, and Azure.

Gender: I see her as a female. She looks entirely feminine to me.

Personality: She is timid, playful, graceful, creative, elegant, calm, sweet, clumsy, & full of curiosity.

TIMID: She never really liked to talk to the adults, afraid they might disapprove of her childish ways. She is very shy with other older Teacups, so she tends to leap into the water when seeing one to seem like a normal Lotus floating in the water. This is also one of her little quirks.

PLAYFUL: She loves the younger generation, and plays with them often. She tends to portray the characteristics of a young Teacup. Even though she is old enough to go hunting and flying, her heart is still that of a child. She takes the job of the babysitter since there is barely any other "experienced" job for her, and she loves to do it.

GRACEFUL: She's clumsy but graceful. She still yet has to master the art of flight, but she is getting better every day. She often practices at night, when most diurnal Teacups are asleep. Due to her dark coloration, she looks like a blue flower floating clumsily in the wind, not knowing where the wind will carry her.

CREATIVE: She has an artistic, imaginative mind. She paints pictures and reads literature in her spare time. As a younger, diminutive Teacup, she would steal her mother's make-up set and use it as paint for her drawings. Due to her French lifestyle, she has dreamt of what the tower may look like. Does it glow? Is it big? Are there Teacup Dragons there? Does it have Lotus flowers?

ELEGANT: She was raised for a class like no other; a sophisticated lifestyle. She still has traces of it left in her blood but her childish ways turned it all around. Nonetheless, she is still the silly and lovely Fleur you could have always dreamed of. She isn't exactly the trendy type, but always the one who would catch your eye.

CALM: When she is alone, she is quiet as a mouse, gazing straight in front of her, often to her next meal. She isn't always this calm of course, it depends on the situation.

SWEET: She is a sweetheart, especially to the younger Teacups. She is extremely benevolent, a favorite for the new and soon-to-be mothers. She likes to give things to others as not for a random act of kindness, but as something she likes to do.

CLUMSY: "She is rather clumsy when diving due to the large flower on its back, therefore it often floats near the surface to surprise its prey." This statement is rather true. She is young and full of questions, knocking things about as she flutters over and under

CURIOUS: Fleur has always been intellectually curious. She tends to ask questions about things she have never heard of, eager for knowledge. It taught her how to read books with a keen, loving, and studious eye. She flitters about her large world to see new things. Due to this, her love of reading and exploration has been stronger than it was ever before.

Short story starring this dragon (Maximum 700 words):

"Dragonflies dancing, toucans singing, bees buzzing; a busy day in the world of the rainforest. But among the leaves and vivacious flowers lived a tiny species of something so tiny and mythical it is so far from the imaginable: the Teacup Dragons."

A blue lotus floating slowly about, drifting in the wind and waters ever so slowly and gracefully. It was amazing to the seers eye, a sight to behold. A callow, in-experienced Kingfisher steadily kept a distance from the little flower and slowly hovered and brought himself down to lay on it for a bit. Then suddenly, came air bubbles and a sneeze, a struggle underneath the lotus - or was it the lotus? There popped the head of a little Teacup Dragon. Surprised, the Kingfisher cawed in disbelief and flew away hastily.

The Teacup struggled to stay afloat after the little visit, but soon regained her strength. She swiftly paddled across the riverbank - or what seemed to be a riverbank in the little Teacups's mind, but a pond - to shore. She clumsily waddled up the sand towards the hard earth, then into the lush grass. Out of breath, she plumped herself onto the grass lazily.

She yawned and munched on the grass out of boredom - already - and sat up again. Noticing the grass as being distasteful, she fluttered towards the top, on the branch of a tree. She ambled to the tip of the branch and re-enacted her mother's favorite movie scene of the Titanic. She stayed there, tiny arms spread wide, until a gust of wind brought her off her feet and into the wind flow. The gust was so strong the little Teacup couldn't control herself in flight. She wriggled around in the wind's grasp but stayed unsuccessful.

Finally, the wind released her and she tumbled to the ground, into a bush. She shook her head and hit her head against a branch shaming herself for doing such a silly thing. She grabbed a branch, and with a movement like a chameleon, peeped out of the bush in case of any danger. here, she stood face-to-face with the flushed face of an angry Teacup.

"You should be ashamed of yourself, playing in the face of danger!" She said, showing no remorse.

"I-I'm, sorry..." she said unassertively, pawing the branch. The little lotus wilted, as if it had a mind of its own.

"Oh you should be. Wait until I tell your mentor young lady!" She scowled, flying off fleetingly. The coy Teacup sat there, regretting her decision to reenact a stupid scene and not knowing the consequence. She leaped out of the bush and landed onto a tulip. It was almost sunset, and already forgetting the remark of the elder, she decided to fly around again. The wind was steady and she clumsily bounced around, trying to remain aloft. A few younger Teacups joined in and they looked like dancing flowers.

It was soon nighttime and the young Teacups continued to dance in the rhythm of Mother Nature's song. A colony of older Teacups sat to watch them practice flight, and soon this was called the Dance of the Teacups.
