Short story starring this dragon (Maximum 700 words): The Blue Lotus Teacup Dragon has a long history behind it, being admired by people all over the world, it's legend traveling far and wide. Here is the story: There once was a girl, a small child. She lived in a small village, not far from a large lake. She was loved by everyone, because of her kindness, and good nature. One day, a large dragon, living in a cave by the lake had run out of livestock, and food, so it decided to wander towards the village. It caused a big uproar in the village, and the villagers started to attack the dragon. The dragon captured the small girl as hostage, and took it to it's cave, where he planned to keep her as a slave, in payment for the attack. Meanwhile, the Blue Lotus Teacup Dragon, hearing of this, was determined to get the small girl back. The Blue Lotus was often teased by other dragons, for being so mild and unintimidating, but the girl had always cheered it up. The Blue Lotus cared deeply for the girl, and was riled up on getting the girl back. It snuck into the bigger dragon's cave, and helped get her out, by using it's claws to cut the binds on her hands. Then, the Blue Lotus, full of bravery, scratched the dragon's eyes out, to make sure he didn't cause any more trouble, blinding it permanently. The dragon, traumatized and ashamed of losing to a smaller dragon, cowered in it's cave for the rest of it's life, while the Blue Lotus dragon was idolized in the village, as a sign or bravery and courage. The legend of it's courage traveled far and wide, passed on from generation to generation. Today, The Blue Lotus Dragon continues living, and whenever people see one, or any signs or it, it was a sign of good luck for them. And that they would be protected by the courageous dragon, wherever they were.
