I named him Levi Stubbs after Levi Stubbles; the man who voiced Audrey Two from the movie 'Little Shop of Horrors'. He was given this name because anytime I see a venus fly trap, I immediately think of Audrey II.

Levi tries not to, because he knows it doesn't get him very many friends, but he can be very manipulative. His voice is very deep for a small guy, some would call it hypnotizing. His words can convince the most stubborn of dragons. His words have caused people to steal for him, love him, and give him things. Audrey isn't much of a thief himself, so he has/had others do it for him. He has a bad reputation, which he loves, but if you know him, and are very close to him, you'll know he can be a nice guy. He just likes to keep it hidden. His jokes, pranks, and antics can be very cruel, but somehow he still comes off as a nice guy to those around him. Maybe it's a part of a scheme, or maybe he's not as cruel and heartless as most dragons know him as.

He does these cruel acts with much thought, but little care. Unless he has feelings of love towards one, he simply doesn't are what others think of him.

Although he can be very evil and rude, he is hardly ever frowning. Levi is a happy guy, he knows what he does, he knows it's bad, but he doesn't care about anyone else's opinion. What he does makes him happy, even if it makes others scared. He can find joy out of these things, which kinda makes him seem even more evil...

MOTIVATION;;

Next to cactus plants, venus fly traps are the best, in my book. They've fascinated me ever since I was a little girl, and I've always seemed to love them. Even after watching Little Shop of Horrors, which is one of my many favorite movies, I loved them even more. They're fascinating plants and beautiful, to me.
Another reason is that teacup dragons have always appeared so interesting to me, they never fail to catch my eye in the adoption section. I've just never really found one I've connected with too well, but I feel as though that changed when I saw Levi. They're a very unique species, and I'd love to have one, to care for, to love, and show off.

Clock loves to explore, when he's not soaking up sun. He explores to try to 'redeem' himself and compensate fir his wings. He's very insecure about his 'wings' but find them t be helpful in his ventures. Despite being unable to fly, he is an adept climber, and can traverse any tree before him. He also enjoys being on the low lying ground, full of plant life and other things. He likes to mark his travels by building rock cairns, and resting upon them at the end of the day.

Motivation to why you want it:

Venus flytraps have entranced me, with their warm red inside. They combine plants and predator, in a way overall unlike anything else. The color palet, and ability to move make them stand out from other plants. On top of that, my neighbors used to have a Venus flytrap. I no longer live in the same town as them, and their flytrap is one thing firmly imposed on my mind. I think about it when I miss them, and my old house.

Meaning:
The name Ampelio comes from an Italian origin meaning "vine".

Why Choose the name?
I know the name's defention isn't that creative but i felt as if it would fit the dragon, not only for it being a plant but as well as it just rolled off the tongue easily for me as it matched it perfectly. Since I usually base names off a different language, i based it off my first language and went with Ampelio which means vine in Italian. When seeing this dragon i just imagined a jungle scenery with the various plants growing on the ground, including the venus fly traps, and the brown detail reminding me of the muddy ground. It may just be me but the scenery just popped into my head immediately <3

Curious
Ampleio's curiosity never wears off, he seems to always look around for new this to find out in his area. He once slipped into a thrift shop and started to hop from cup to cup in a tea collection wondering if they were different from each other. This keeps him busy for a while until he finally reaches the point of boredom again, which will go away eventually until he finds another interesting place or item to see or explore. Being most of a clutz he does end up breaking a few things due to not being able to control his tail that easily, he lets it hang most of the time and only uses it to pick up objects half his size. When pushing off an items to let it break accidentally, he continues to walk and does not realize the incident until he walks back to the point where it occurred.

Hyper
Ampleio is always full of energy and never seems to run out of it until the sun starts to set. As if the sun brings him to be more energetic, he is most active during the middle of the day. The one moment where he acts calm is near dawn or dusk where the sun either rises or descends. Though he prefers sunsets he is never awake to see the sun rise, but he is curious of how it looks like as well as the scenery around him. When making friends it can go two different ways, either they can support his "bouncy" personality or get annoyed and ignore the energized dragon. He does not quite understand what a friend truly is but he does know its is supposed to be a good thing, which makes hi more cheerful for the friends he already has.

Childish
As can be simply seen from a distance or from up close, Ampelio is very childish and does not act his age at all. He has a young mind, being a disadvantage when trying to fix a problem. He is not dull, but his decisions usually lead to the problem getting worse or staying the way it was with no effect. Besides this little pull back, he is very kind towards others, even if they are strangers. He does not hate anyone due to their personality or the way they act, he treats everyone equally with no intention of starting a fight since he is a pacifist as well. Hearing from others around him, he slowly starts to learn about what friends are and tries to regroup some whenever he has nothing to do or his he just want a companion to follow him along in his adventures. Most of the time he does get rejected since he walks up to random strangers he has never met before, but this does not bring him down since he knows he will find a friend sooner than later.

Stubborn
Due to his childish side, he does get stubborn occasionally when proven wrong or caught doing something wrong. Even if half way through the argument he realizes that he is actually wrong, he will continue to argue either way. He does not like losing but he can live with it if its a silly competition or a difficult one. He does enjoy a good race though, since he has so much stored energy he would zoom off taking the lead by a large gap. Though sometimes when in a race his clumsiness occurs and make shim trip, losing time to get ahead just to get up and regain his certain pattern of running as well as speeding up. When he loses, depending on his mood he will either deny the loss and ask for a rematch or will accept the loss but say that the competition was pointless anyways. There is truly no way of satisfying him when he has been through a loss, showing another side of his stubborn trait.

Motivation to why you want it:
Well it does involve a bit of history with myself, when i was little i adored science class because i always got to do experiments including how fast can a mouse run on different terrain or which liquid would make a plant grow faster. But i remember one day the science teacher brought in a group of exotic plants such as cacti,orchids,bamboo, and a venus flytrap. When i poked it i saw it recoil, i was amazed that it even moved. I continued to annoy it until it actually did bite me, but it did tickle. I did get a warning not to play around with it so much since too much activity can shorten its "lifespan", but i always watched it from a distance while the teacher was explaining a lesson or experiment. I made a report on it for extra credit and the teacher was nice enough to let me bring it home for if i had any experiments i would like to do outside of class. Sadly it was my last year in that school but the venus flytrap gifted to me by my favorite teacher stayed with me for a few more weeks due to the research i dd on how to make it live longer with small tips here and there. So venus flytraps do bring back good memories of my younger years where everything was care-free with nothing in the world to bother you, i could not resist trying out for this amazing dragon, simply breathtaking <3
