Username: ChiCha - [ FieryFilly & ChiCha ]Pup name:
ArminaPersonality: Armina's personality is one that not many have, though one that some can relate to at times. In Armina's old pack, the new mentor had it out for her and disciplined her, to the point of her acting close to what a robot would, only using her Brain, though with quite a bit more ingenuity. After escaping that pack, she's allowed her heart to guide some of her actions, though it is still as if her Heart is caged up inside her, slowly hacking away at the shackles and walls that keeps it chained. Every day, every new adventure, every person she meets and friend she makes is helping to bring that once delightful, jokester, bubbly girl that she once was, back. At times it is almost as if she is battling with these two sides of her, such as a gringo in the middle of a Mexican standoff with only a knife to aid them. She's basically been brainwashed, at least in a sense she has, so whenever her Heart is battling her robotic mind, she will slowly get a headache, which will slowly increase to a migraine, and if things get really bad, she can even blackout, at worst going into a coma for a few days. The BrainCunning & DeviousAs a pup, Armina is quite the little troublemaker, though it isn't always her fault, seeing as it is in her nature to explore and learn all that there is. That... And the fact that with as intelligent as she is, she gets bored easily and gets her nosy self into sometimes unintentional mischief. As she has trained and gotten older though, she uses these skills heavily in battle. Armina's cunningness will help her to outsmart even the smartest of Krondors in the tightest of spots, though her Heart usually keeps tactics of deceit and foul play at bay, there will be times when the logic of her Brain will override the kindness of her Heart though, having her resort to such actions. Her devious ways will do much of the same that her cunningness will as she gets older, but this will be more of her Brain acting, such as it would for the deceit and foul play of her cunningness. It will take many years to be truly able to always make the correct decisions as well as using her cunning and devious ways, for it has been proved before that the Heart can make a better decision, than the Brain.Wise & RealisticArmina is quite wise, even as a pup she already knows nearly as much as a warrior twice her age would. She's allowed her experiences in life to shape her and make her who she is now, as well as continuing to shape her into the WoI she will become. Armina is also realistic, for the most part, not allowing fantasies to carry her away. Especially in battle, Armina is one of the few who will give it to you straight, whether it is that the odds or against you or the wound that you carry is severe. In a sense this makes her quite honest as well, being one of the few truest and most honest people you'll meet.Perceptive & AstuteArmina is able to perceive what most cannot, whether it is because they simply are not able to see it or they refuse to. She catches the little things that most do not, processing them like a code through her mind. This, in turn, works hand in hand with her astute abilities. Armina can take in everything at once, if she likes, and use it to give her further insight to use at her disposal. The instances range from a simple game of hide-and-go-seek, a mind game testing all her wits and knowledge, to battle. She takes in positions and trajectories, determining reaction times and weak points, she will even go as far as considering age, weight, and body size and proportions. Granted, this skill is not fully at her disposal, and won't be until she nearly too old for battle, but she does practice and train everyday so that she may gain experience for it. At the moment she is able to perceive trajectories and reaction times, only to an extent though.Quick Thinker & ObservativeArmina is not the kind of person who is stuck in the moment or has delayed reactions. If she needs to move or choose something fast she'll think of her best option and go with that, but if there is no time for that, she'll simply choose the reasonae option that pops into her head. Armina is also extremely observative, catching every single minute detail. The way the sun reflects off of a dew drop, the way someone's eyes move as they talk to her, everything. She can in turn, however, neglect to see the bigger picture as she scans and observes every little thing, which causes her some trouble and such every now and then.Elusive & QuietArmina is elusive for a few reasons. For one, that one month with Tenov scarred her like nothing else will ever again. From this ordeal, she now has trust issues, so whenever she sees someone, she is extra cautious around them, hardly allowing them to ever get any closer than a few feet. Armina was also never a very social person, so she does indeed keep to herself. The same thing applies to her quiet nature, she just isn't that sociable. Especially after the entire Tenov thing, not being able to properly think of speak for herself, she still has trouble talkin easily with someone. The HeartPatient & NeutralArmina has always been a patient person, never one to rush into things unless it was dire or the moment needed it. Just as with the times with her master, easily sitting quietly for hours just honking on one's thoughts, has also proven her skills in patience. Another thing, is that she hates taking sides. Sub as in arguments, she never takes a side, not even slightly, listens to both sides and tells them both what she thinks of each of their statements and who is technically correct. These two traits would make Armina a great friend and person to go to when filled with questions or doubt, if only she weren't my so closed up and would let people into her life.Wary & ProtectiveAgain, as with her elusive state, Armina is wary and guards her heart. She was quite hurt in her earlier months of life as a pup, not only from Tenov, but even from Itayu. She wonders even now why he left her, why he didn't protect her from Tenov which has caused most of this mess for her. She has trust issues, as previously said, as well as a tendency to flinch when another WoI, whether it be a peer or an adult, lifts a paw. She has even jumped a few times, especially when they are running at her. Armina is also, strangely, protective of whatever she holds dear to her, such as Itayu, and her heart. She never wants to give it away to someone unless she knows that they will love her as much as she would love them.Fierce & BraveThough she many not look it, Armina is indeed fierce when need be. If she is threatened or knows someone else is in deep trouble, she will not run nor will she do nothing. Armina would use any means possible to ensure her safety and that of others, especially if it it that of someone she holds dear to her or even loves. It is also true that Armina is brave, proof would be of the time when she was barely past two months of age and walked out onto a ledge with her master during the wildest rainstorm she had ever seen. She's not afraid to fight, and certainly knows when to back down or not, yet still makes sure to make her point.Stubborn & A FighterArmina is indeed stubborn when need be. If she knows she is right in a matter or can help in some way, she will not leave until she knows her part has been done or her purpose as fufilled as can be. Granted, if her Alpha or a higher authority figure commands it of her to leave it be, she'll still do what she can to show them she or her knowledge is to some degree useful, unless of course she knows it's a losing battle. Speaking of battles, Armina is a fighter, she doesn't stop until she wins or is one the edge of dying or of course she dies, but that obviously hasn't happened yet. She knows how to pick her battles, from there choosing which ones are most important to fight for, the ones she will never give up on, are love and finding herself once again.Story/Histoy: Armina's pup days are all hazy to her now, she has no remembrance of whatever pack she had belonged to. Neither her mother, nor her father are clear in her mind. Even her own sister is a haze in her mind, lost just as everything else was. For her, life started only a month ago, today though, a month after her life 'started', the day she turns seven months, does she finally rediscover her past...
Running... It was in her brain, bones, and blood. Every fiber of her screamed it. The young wolf had never known why, but this, along with star gazing and rain storms, gave her a true feeling of euphoria and sometimes helped to soothe the block inside her mind where her memory was divided. The morning was particularly foggy, more so than most mornings, which the young she-wolf found odd, seeing as today was her seven months of age, to which she had hoped for better, happier and more uplifting weather. Armina went along her usual route, yet being as foggy as it was, she did not know she had strayed from her path, until it was too late. Her back paw grazed the edge of a ravine and before she could change her course, her front paw came down on an unstable piece of the ledge, sending her tumbling down. Burrs caught and pulled her fur, while sticks and needles jabbed and gouged her pelt, not but a moment later did the young female take a tumble off yet another ledge, sending her airborne. Falling. It engulfed her, fear snaked its way into her body, as she watched the sky above and knew it would be the last thing she would see before hitting stone hard ground. She was wrong. At first, it felt like stinging, pins and needles, cold as icicles, and then another engulfing feeling, ten times more potent than the air that had once surrounded her. Water... She opened her bright eyes and peered at the abyss surrounding her body. She blew out a breath of air, amazed at the bubbles as they squirmed, shakily to the surface, leaving her behind. A gasp escaped her lips, in reaction to the beauty of this under-the-surface world, but instead, she inhaled air. She began to choke, coughing violently, trying to expel the water from her lungs and fill them with sweet air, but this only caused her to choke on even more water. Panic began to overtake her, heart, brain, body, and soul. I'm drowning... This was her only thought, for she did not know how to swim, and no matter all the thrashing of her legs she did, she only sank deeper and deeper, choking on the foul water as it dumped into her lungs. In moments, exhaustion crept through her, the young female accepting, that this was her end. But no, like a river breaking through a dam, (how ironic), the fog, the wall that separated her past broke through and all the memories came rushing back...
The 3 month old pup's eyes glittered as little sparks of sunshine broke away from the rays cascading through the canopy of trees, illuminating them like a fire opal. She looked up at her master, Master Itayu, standing tall and proudly. She looked forward again at her Alphas, Jreko and Liahj, Jreko stepped forward, looking at her, sending a quick and discrete wink of happiness, then to Itayu a grin of congratulations spreading across his orange and fiery face, "You, Itayu, are now the guardian of this pup, Armina. May you guide her as your own. Protect her as your own. Love her as your own." Jreko then lifted his amber paw placing it on Itayu's head and heart and repeating the action for her. A swell of joy filled Armina, she was no longer the lost pup, the rescue, she now had a family, she had Itayu. She walked with him through the forest, back to their special spot on the cliff. They sat there for what seemed to be ages, when she finally spoke, "May I still call you Master?" Itayu looked down at her, his maroon and grey pelt shimmering as he turned to face her. "I don't see why not, as long as I may still call you my pupil and apprentice." Armina smiled at this. Itayu was an instructor of sorts for the pups as well as the teens, though they were separated, Armina was taken into the pack only a month ago, found alone in a hollowed out tree. She only had the memory of her sister, but when she asked the elders said they did not see such a pup. Ever since then she had been enrolled into Itayu's little 'class' as they nicknamed it. He had always taken the best of care of her, and after that full month, offered to basically adopt her. So here they were now, family to the pack's eyes.
Two more months passed, Armina and her master living life the same as they had even before they were officially family. Things changed though, when one morning Itayu was simply gone, vanished even. Armina cried for days, until she was summoned for a pack meeting. Armina had grown quite a bit, more than the other pups, looking slightly more like pups two and three months older than she. She stood tall on her long legs, looking to see what it was that all th ruckus was about. In the center of the group were the Alphas and someone she didn't recognize. Jreko stepped forward as though on cue, "My pack, I would like to introduce Tenov, our," he paused, taking a quick look at her before continuing, "second mentor until Itayu returns." Armina took a moment to assess Tenov, taking in his black and green coat, with little flecks and highlights of gold in it. He was decent looking, that much was obvious, as well as young, maybe only two years older than she, so the attention he got, especially of the older teens and younger females was abundant. In the next moment though, he smelled the air and his golden eyes locked with her bright ones, a look of malice sweeping through them, before he turned his head and shed having had enough of this 'replacement' padded away.
That night as she took her usual spot in her and her master's den, she heard someone else come in. As she turned and looked she saw Tenov standing looking at her like fresh meat. "What are you doing here?" She asked in a serious and cold tone. His face took on a half amused and half bemused look, before he folly responded, "I would ask the same of you." She bared her teeth slightly, "I live here thank you." His look then changed to understanding, "I see, you must be Armina. The Alpha told me about you and how I would have to share the mentor's den with you." Armina fumed at this. His words sounded as though he had been the one living here for the past two months, not she. None the less, she would do as her master had taught, and be courteous and kind, for now though, it would be as she could manage. "Fine then, but you're not sleeping in me and my master's bed." With that end note, she settled herself down and fell asleep. The next morning Armina woke next to a warm body. She looked, expecting to see Itayu there, but instead there was a black and green pelt. Tenov. Armina scrambled up, barking, in a way, at Tenov, shaking him from his sleep. "For one, I told you not to sleep in me and my master's bed. For two, you are late." She then marched out of the den, towards the pup's class area, aware that Tenkv was trailing behind her. When they arrived the pups were all there, Tenov stepped to the front and said, "I will teach each and every one of you individually, go home and I shall retrieve you when time." They all left and just as she was about to, Tenov said, "Armina. You're first." She turned, the next thing she knew a body was slammed into her. Armina fell to the ground, shocked and looked up to see Tenov's face an inch from hers, "You are going to be changed once I'm through with you." On that note, he struck her again.
The next month was like this, training and training, mind and body. Armina was warped until she did not know her own self, she was now Tenov's puppet, dragging her along, telling her what to say and do. They shared the bed she had refused to allow him the first day they met, he now doing as he pleased, including sleeping on top of her even. Deep down, caged inside of her, she was scared, she knew this was all wrong, yet she couldn't break free of the haze Tenov had her in. Armina was alone on day in woods, when out of no where Tenov appeared behind her, wrapping himself around her. He put his nose to her ear and his snake like words came out of his mouth, "I told the Alpha that you and I were to mate my sweet." She shivered, fear gripping her body, for once, her heart was able to break free from the haze of her mind, and she ran for her life. She shook her head as her kind tried to take over, Tenov barking orders for her to stop. It wouldn't have made a difference, seeing as her caught her but a moment later. He pinned her to the ground, her eyes widened as she knew what was to happen next. Yet by some miracle it didn't. It all passed by her in slow motion. Tenov's body was ripped off from her and thrown to the side, as a much bigger body towered in front of her, a protective stance, a road ripping through it. Itayu. Tenov leaped, barreling into Itayu, who though much bigger, was still much older and had a rough time getting Tenov off. On e he managed to, he looked into her eyes and screamed, "Armina run!" His eyes pleaded for her to. And so she did...
Adrenaline kicked in, as instinct took over and propelled her to the surface. Armina managed to throw herself onto the shore before a mix of chokes and sobs went through her as she remembered her past. She laid there, for minutes and hours, before finally getting up. Armina put aside all that she had just rediscovered and knew she had to get out of this ravine, just for starters. Why? She had no idea. She walked endlessly, passing tree over tree. She passed yet another tree, when a roar caught her attention. A big green beast, with horns and talons, stood before her, looking as threatening as ever. Her brain took over, analyzing it, by a sheer guess she took it to be old and since it was only two feet taller than her, quite runt-ish. She puffed out her chest, deciding to test out a warning growl, nothing threatening, but just a sign that it should leave. It looked at her, then turned away, as though nothing had happened. She was ready to keep following the way of her Brain, when her Heart spoke out, whispering for her to wait and follow its scent to maybe find a way out, seeing as it had to have gotten in somehow. And she did. Hours of waiting paid off as she followed the creature's scent to a clear path out.
Armina looked about at the new landscape, there were many new things about, but the one that caught her eyes the most were the large red mountains far ahead of her. She decided to follow her Heart ad Brain on this, as they both conceded that she see what lie ahead at these mountains. What she didn't know, was the new life that she would be able to start, once she made it to this new home...Armour Design: [ Armor - Petals & Thorns ]

Nine by Me [ ChiCha ]Likes:> Running -- Running gives her freedom, it allows her to let go and be free, for once. Some think it odd, to see this lone wolf with the striking eyes running, sometimes blindly, across the hills, with a smile on her face, but it is because next to storms and stargazing, running is the one thing that brings her to a state of euphoria, the only way she truly feels she is with her old master again.
> Peace and Quiet -- Armina is not a very social wolf, usually only present when absolutely necessary. There are a few times, however, when she herself will come and socialize, proving the fact that too much of something is unhealthy for you.
> Rainstorms and Stargazing -- These were the two things that belonged to her and her master. She was the only pup in the clan that had braved the worst storm ever seen to them and she was the only one who ever truly understood the stars and saw them as her master did.
> Thinking -- Armina and her master always loved taking moments to think, sharing their thoughts every so often, speaking what they thought on certain topics, philosophically really.
> Being Certain -- After those two horrid months, Armina has always had a need for being certain, hence her Brain side, which although it did emerge during those two horrid months, she has now been able to use to sooth her after that ordeal.Dislikes:> Traitors -- Armina greatly despises traitors, from a simple backstabbing friend, to a mastermind who tricks an entire group of people. The latter is unforgivable, while the first is easier so.
> Disturbances -- She likes her peace and quiet, as well as peace of people and lands, so disturbances from loud annoying noises to battles and havoc displease her.
> Doubt -- Doubt. It is like an insect crawling through people and she hates it when it crawls through her. She likes being certain and knowing what is true from what is gossip.
> Over-Controllers -- Armina despises over-controlling people, control freaks really. This obviously coming from Tenov and what he did to her. She feels as though they put invisible chains on people and things, where as she needs her freedom, never wanting to be in chains or in a cage again.
> Ravines -- Whenever she sees or hears a ravine, it reminds her when she was trapped in the ravine.Impartial To:> Rivers -- Armina never really chose her side after the encounter with the river. She's not quite sure if she likes them, for bringing her memory back and being able to know her past, or if she dislikes them, for bringing back her past and making her relive her nightmares.
