:Form:
Name:
Fannar
Reason for Name:
Fannar means snow in old Norse. I thought that this name fitted him well, since he is an Elkrin from the north, and is suited for cold and snow. In addition to the meaning, I like the way the name rolls off of the tongue and think that it suits a majestic Elkrin like this one.
Breedable:
Yes
Personality Traits:
Strong-willed
Fannar has never been known to back down from something that he believes in. If he has an opinion, you can be sure that it will be heard and acknowledged by everyone else before he even thinks of agreeing to another solution. If you try to force him to do something against his will, you will have no luck against the strong, resolute Elkrin. He is his own creature and will never bow down to another. The relationship between him and his rider is one of mutual respect. Fannar would not tolerate it otherwise, and he would never bond with a human who sought to be his master.
Determined
If Fannar says that he will do something, rest assured that it will be done. When he sets himself a goal, the big Elkrin is sure to go through with it. Even if the odds against him seem insurmountable he will not give up. Fannar is one to always complete what he has started, regardless of the difficulty of the task. If he sets his mind to something, be sure not to get in his way.
Brave
Fannar will never back down. He will stand up and fight, even against overwhelming odds.
Loyal
Fannar sticks with those he considers family. He will never desert them, and would do anything for him. Although he is slow to accept people as family, once he does he will stay by their side for life.
Shy around females that he likes
Although he acts brave, he can get really timid around female Elkrins. He seems to be searching for that special someone, but he gets shaky around females and cannot really talk to them. He still hopes to find a girl who loves him for who he is, however.
