Sirius

I've heard of these creatures before but it was said to be a rare occurance for one to be found. It seems to have a long body with a fluffy tail and fox-like head. Over all, it looked dog-like. I spied him under a large leaf. I could see the bright blue glowing orbs under it. I carefully lifted up the leaf and saw a black fluff ball with glowing markings across his fur. He was curled up in a ball, I observed, and he was no more than a small puppy. I looked around for his mother but saw no creature nor any sign of one that would match the puppy. Suddenly, the fur ball opened one eye which peered up at me. It seemed as though it recognized me. It uncurled itself and stared at me with its bright, happy eyes. He walked closer to me and layed on my feet. I guess that means I love you. I picked him up and, looking around one more time, walked back to my camp. The little guy was curious and played similar to a puppy. I went back into my memories to see if I could remember the species name. Vindex, i believe. Looking back at the black bundle of fur, I gave him a name. The colored markings and glowing orbs seem to be similar to the color of the star Sirius; and so that was his name, Sirius.
