ahh, these marble cats are the most creative and cute thing I've ever seen! I gotta get one to call mine. ;D
name: Toulouse
Age: 3 years.
nickname: Tou
gender: Male
personality: Toulouse is a very, very curious marble cat. This cat craves discovering new things, and is never satisfied. Tou loves high places most, and can often be found in a tree that overlooks a large portion of land. He can also be very mischievous; he's got a surprising good talent at plotting things out. Toulouse generally likes to keep to himself and not be too involved with others, and no one really knows why. He certainly isn't a shy marble cat, and doesn't like wasting time or sleeping in too late, for that matter. He's also got a fascination with humans, and likes to quietly observe what they do while he's making his way through a populated area.
likes: Toulouse loves adventure, hibiscus nectar, chasing grasshoppers around, the smell of the forest, summer weather, sunny days, sneaking around places in the dark, and listening to crickets make their music during the darker times of day.
dislikes: Toulouse doesn't like rain, he hates everything about getting wet ,(typical feline!) getting in trouble, bees, thunder (just the loud noise, he likes to see lightning.)
birthday: june 26.
favorite memory: Toulouse's favorite memory is the time he happened to meet a friend he never expected. It didn't seem so fantastic at the time.
The flying feline was enjoying a normal sunny day in the forest until a young child ran towards him with a small butterfly net. Toulouse had seen these small humans before with those nets, catching fireflies at night and imprisoning them in a glass cage. He quickly went to flee, but soon was surrounded by mesh netting that had holes too little for him to slip through. The child lifted the net, and grabbed the upper part Toulouse was in, so that he couldn't escape. The child broke into a slow jog and carried Tou off with him. After reaching a tent pitched neatly by an isolated lake, the human spoke it's language to two larger and was given a glass jar. The winged feline knew what was going to happen next, and before he could even comprehend was was going to happen, he was pushed into it, feeling the tight space making his wings awfully uncomfortable. He took flight, but the lid was already secured tightly on the jar, and the poor marble cat kept bumping into the glass. Eventually he gave up, and went to sleep.
When he woke up, he was still in the same jar. In a tent. It was darker than the outside, and a bit warmer, yet the dimmer lighting was, in a way, relaxing. He peered around the area, and saw a small body, his captor, sleeping soundly. Because it was darker, Tou's whiskers and tail were glowing a green color, adding some light to the tent. The human looked so peaceful, in a state of silence and only dreaming. The curious cat sat down and watched the child for a while, absorbing every detail that went on.
After a while, the little human began to stir, and soon slowly sat up and rubbed its eyes. It glanced over at Toulouse and smiled, happy to see the little friend was still in the jar. It got up, grabbed the jar, and walked outside, past the tent, beyond the lake, into a deeper part of the forest. After stopping periodically to look around, the human sat the jar down and seemed interested in a certain tree. Toulouse couldn't see what was so special about it, so sat, confused. The child picked up the jar, and lifted it toward a hole in the tree, a one considerably deep, filled with oak leaves, some comfortable (and delicious) looking flowers, along with a few small grey bird feathers. The little human spoke, with a tone of happiness, directly to Toulouse. The marble cat didn't understand the language, but knew the child seemed extremely proud and happy. The lid twisted on his jar, and was open! Tou was free! He was about to shoot out of the glass cage like a fox after a mouse, but instead, slowly flew up to the child, and sat on it's shoulder, with both of them looking into this luxurious tree suite. Toulouse hovered in the air for a moment, then went over and crawled inside. The flowers filled the entire tree hole with a fragrant smell that made the bug-like cat's little mouth water. He laid down, eyes on the human, who seemed to have a smile bigger than the evening sunset, and nibbled on the petals of a dandelion. The child squeaked with delight, happy to see that the new creature it met was a friend afterall. The human sat for hours by the tree, 'playing' with the Tou, feeding him flowers by hand, making little structures out of sticks to improve his quality of life. Then, a loud yell made the little child's head turn quickly. It was the two big humans. They must've come looking for their offspring! One stormed over and grabbed the little child's hand, pulling it along with them hurriedly. The child waved goodbye, and looked at Toulouse for one last time.
art: I'd totally draw some if I didn't suck at it, I might attempt it later.
