Esme is particularly passionate when it comes to conversing about books! As a librarian,
Esme has grown up reading books every day - admiring fictional characters, daydreaming about being in those characters' "shoes", and attempting to find her own adventures within the outside world. During her days as an adolescent, those who met her would often identify her as "the true definition of a child". With a glowing personality of energy, enthusiasm, creativity, and joyfulness,
Esme often enjoys sharing her childhood memories with others - as she was quite the 'daredevil'! As a bean who has had such a vivid childhood, those who have known her for long enough can easily take notice that the cheerful bean is still very much a child at heart. Though she can appear very childish at times,
Esme is a very efficient individual - striving for perfection and timeliness. Upon being given a task, one can rest assured that
Esme will be sure to get to it right away. Even though
Esme is a very efficient bean, however, family is of first priority - and she will unquestioningly drop whatever she is doing if her attention is needed for family.
With that being said,
Esme has a huge heart for her family - and prefers to spend time with her family after she finishes work than doing anything else. From dragging her entire family around on shopping sprees to simple park visits,
Esme is very outgoing when it comes to choosing activities for everyone to participate in. As she loves her family dearly,
Esme is also extremely protective of her children and her mate! Insulting any one of her family members is a huge mistake (even as a joke) - and she will not hesitate to start launching retorts back. Additionally,
Esme is quite strict when it comes to the "rights" and "wrongs" of how her children should lead their lives. For example,
Esme will constantly remind them to not accept any potentially dangerous drinks or items (such as cigarettes) when they go off to areas beyond her supervision.
Aside from being quite the protective mother,
Esme is a generally innocent minded bean! She will never use swear words, "vulgar" language, or process 'dirty' jokes through her mind. Though she definitely has an understanding on how the world works,
Esme is so "absorbed" by her hobbies and books that she barely (if ever) pays attention to the less-innocent side of life.

Esme loves her job very much! As a librarian in her town's library, she guides adult beans and adolescent beans alike in finding the books they've come for with a great delight as she slips from one aisle to the next. Being the "bookworm" she is,
Esme has read many of the library's books already - striking up friendly little conversations about the stories with those who check out books she's already read. Being a librarian with such great enthusiasm,
Esme does not associate the word "librarian" with "work", and often leaves others wanting to read more books with the fact that she seems so intellectual with her appearance and amount of books she's read. True to her appearance,
Esme is an incredibly intelligent bean whose thirst for knowledge will never truly be quenched!
