Still a bloody WIP even though it says it isn't at the bottom. Ahaha, maybe I'll turn it into a novel.

Story:Long ago, in the days of old, kingdoms sprouted across the land, in the early days of the medieval era. Within the shelter of a mighty castle, you, a young child, was getting ready to fall into the depths of an ancient adventure. Your mother, a queen at the time, would tell you stories of long before you. You are told of great kings that ruled over the kingdom long ago, magical creatures that only exist in the minds of the imaginative. These stories were often propaganda to you, as you did not believe them, but you always adored the stories of one animal. One that was so bold, so powerful, there was not one that competed with him. There was one equine, one of kings, that was only spoke in legends. They say that a thousand royal kings rode atop him into battle, and won with glory gripping their hands like a child. A graceful stallion, with a grey blizzard hidden under white paint upon his coat, and a mane of amaranthine flame. He would roam across the land in mystery, searching for the one that would be his knight. One that was chosen, destined to be upon his back, with the sword of King Arthur, and the armor of a great warrior that lived a hundred years before you. This was only a myth within the eyes and minds of the people in the kingdom, they say that there is no such equine, as no horse could be that powerful. Before you could release another thought, your mother abruptly ended the story, as your father had rushed into the room. He briefly spoke in a quickened tone, glancing at you. The castle was being attacked, and there was no place to go. The queen picked you up and held you within her arms, running out of the room, bolting down the hallway with your father following close behind. A small earthquake rumbled throughout the castle as a large hole was broke into the pathway, Knights covered in dark red armor charged through the gates like a herd of wild horses, coming at your family. The king drew his sword, pointing it at the enemies, showing his war cry. "If you wish to hurt my family, then you come through me first!" His throat roared with a deep tone as he went at the knights, slashing his sword. Your mother tightened her grip, crying, before rushing down another part of the hallway, out the door into the courtyard. A fierce battle was being fought between the royal guards and the crimson knights. One huge brute, whom looked as big and thick as the castle's wooden doors, looked towards your direction, and began to charge. The queen closed her eyes tightly and put you down, motioning you to run. She positioned herself, and went at the brute in a fury, protecting her child with the throw of her fists. You, deathly scared, ran, escaping the battle, running from everything you once knew, your parents, your home, the memories you created, all gone. Past the blood and chaos, you made your way through the village, and out the large metal doors that held the only entrance to the once mighty kingdom. You bolted across the bridge, under it where the sea laid. You felt like you had ran for hours on end, as you were now far away from the horror of the war. A long breath escaped from your mouth as you settled down near a boulder, leaning against it. Sweat ran down your face, energy you once had disappeared within the heated air, flowing down into the valley below. Your eyes wandered, taking in the detail of the area. An equine figure could be seen in the distance, seemingly coming at you. It seemed like an illusion, your mind playing tricks on you, but it was not. The deep breathing of the horse could be heard as it neared, hooves pounding the soft ground like it was a plaything. You slowly looked up as a soft neigh was heard above you, - It was the stallion, the one mentioned in the legends. Your back was pushed against the wall as you tried to make space between you and the equine, who was slowly moving towards you. His hot breath loomed on your face as he pushed her cranium towards you. As if it was a surprise, the horse nuzzled you softly, nickering like a mare would to her foal. A relieved sigh escaped your mouth as the stallion pushed you up onto your feet, almost causing you to stumble back down to the ground. He used his neck to keep you from falling, as exhaustion still gripped your body, not wanting to move at all. You looked at him with a confused face, wondering why he was helping you as you were no were near this "chosen" one as it said in the stories. You were only a lost child. A thought appeared within your head, echoing as the stallion gently put you onto his back. Was he helping you like he did kings past? Leading you into battle to win your kingdom back once more? You wander off into a trance when the stallion shakes you awake, neighing, as if he was talking to you. It was very strange, but it felt like you could understand him. The mighty brute told you something that you never thought would be true, causing saddness. The battled appeared within your mind once more, causing you to close your eyes tightly, crying silently. The stallion nickered, turning his head to nudge you softly, calming you down. You realized that there was no place for sadness and depression in this world now, as it was time to be brave. Your tears were whipped away by the horse's soft tongue, a giggle emerging from your mouth, eventually allowing you to smile as he rid your face of the tears. He seemed to smile once he finished clearing the salty liquid, turning his head to the rising sun in the distance. You grabbed onto his mane with the strong grip of your small hands, and held on for dear life. The equine reared high into the air, letting out a mighty roar before galloping into the rising sun, bringing on a new life that will someday, save the kingdom that you once knew, as home.
