Kronus wolves are a specie of wolf, that live on a distant planet called Vanendra. They are unlike the common wolves you and I see today, for they are stockier, and more well built than those smaller wolf breeds on Earth. They are not often seen, for they often hide themselves well enough, but I have recently been able to catch a few.
Vanendra
The Kronus wolves home planet, is quite like Earth. It has flora and fauna and several seasons, being Ari [Summer], Sora [Autumn] Daru [Winter] and Fatari [Spring]. All seasons have their highlights and downers but each season these wolves enjoy for different reasons.
Ari is typically the warmest season of the year, and this is the time of bountiful prey. The wolves will often pick mates during this season, and might often move out in solitary pairs. During this season, the sky is typically a dark red. The Kronus enjoy this season, because of the warmth and the scenery, as well as the wide choice of prey.
Sora is a beautiful time of year for the Kronus. The leaves start to fall, and the ground turns a lovely golden color. During this season, the sky is typically an orangey-red. The Kronus mate during this season. The prey is just starting to disappear in this season.
Daru is the most peaceful time for these wolves. They are often in their dens they built during Sora, hibernating. Some bachelor wolves do stay awake during Daru, but they have trouble finding water and food, for the lake has usually frozen over, and the prey has gone somewhere warmer. The sky is a light blue during this season.
Fatari is a celebration season. Kronus wolves come out of their winter hibernation, and the prey starts to return. The wolves celebrate the 'new' year, and this is also the time of the birth of the pups. The sky during this season is a dark maroon.
Appearance
The Kronus Wolves are a bulky wolf, slightly larger than the common breeds. The differences are that the Kronus have horns, though the size depends on the gender.
Males
Males are larger than the females, and their horns are larger. They come in many shapes and patterns. The males are also known for their demon wings. These are the size of their body, with a usual wingspan twice the length of the body.
The males are more attractive to the females, if their horns are larger then any others' and more intricate. The wings play little part in the attraction, though if a male has scars and tears in the wings he will seem more attractive.
Females
The females are slightly less stocky, and less built than the males, and there horns are merely lumps in the skin. A female can be told apart by her wings. The larger and more feathery wings a female has the older and more mature and each set of wings is unique to the female. On her ankle a female will have a bracelet with a single feather. As she gets older the feather will become bigger and the designs more intricate, and the alphas will have more feathers than others.
Females will be more attractive to the males if their wings are large and more detail and if her feather design attracts the male. If a female has smaller feathers around the large one (Which is quite common, even among lower ranked wolves) she will seem more attractive, and the more she has the better.
Mating
The mating between these wolves is very secret, with no wolf being able to be near. That is why not even I know!
Holidays
These wolves have a holiday at the start of Fatari. It is to welcome the new season. There is a lot of food and also a lot of courting with the males to the females. Another holiday is what you and I would call Christmas. These wolves have a celebration with lots of food, and they give presents out to everyone.
