The Surtchine [singular, Surtchin] are a race with a very large variety. Some even say that the Surtchine as a collective are really just a bunch of races who say they are one, but they are all genetically related. They are almost always based on defense, offence, foraging, or something to do with survival. [Yes, magic counts.] They are normally reliable and generous, but in a very emotionless way. Every once in a while, there is a Surtchin who shows a lot of emotion and is extremely social, though these "motus nimis," as they are called, don't return feelings of friendship or love. They make good companions and workers, and are especially known for their extraordinary performance in courts.

In order to find one of the Surtchines, as they are normally shy, you must try to lure them with an object or animal. They are very hesitant and timid at first, so you may have to wait a while after setting it out for them to find and accept it. Don't worry, it will be worth the wait.

TO ADOPT A SURTCHIN:
Draw your object or animal in the little glowy thingy, post, and wait for me to get back to you. I will, once I see it, think up of someone who may like what you have set out. They will keep the object/animal and become very attached to it, enchanting it soon after they get it. Set out as many things as you want! Just take your time and be thoughtful of what you place. Do your best! The more effort you put in, the more effort I put in.
