i decided to redo the lines for these guys and make the species a bit cuter c:

lunari, or lunas for short, are small, horned,
nocturnal creatures possessing long sleek tails
with a cresent moon shaped tip. their tails
glow like a light to help them see in the night.
lunas are herbivores about the size of a fox,
with lovely soft fur. they generally live in dark
forests alone until they find a mate. the usual
breeding results in 2 offspring, the parents look
after their young until their tails begin to glow,
as it's not instant when they're born.

because lunas are so adorably cute, people
have started keeping them as pets. as they're
no longer in the wild, their sleep pattern can
shift and be no longer nocturnal. lunas can also
start to live in small groups when adopted.
people might dress their lunas up and they
don't seem to mind at all, if anything they
enjoy it. still, most lunari live in the wild.

a luna can breed twice in their life. luna can
reproduce regardless of their gender. when
breeding lunas with traits above standard,
uncommon traits have a high likelihood of being
passed down, rare have slightly less of a chance,
and you have to be very lucky for legendary
traits to appear in the offspring.
