and our special bubble fillings for a real boba tea look!
Patented technology has also allowed us to levitate a
bubble outside of the silicone shell! Babusagi are just
as sweet in personality as they are in appearance!

This summer, we're exploring the elusive Babuland.
It seems to only appear once every few years, but the
babusagi are going crazy over it! Do they know something
we don't?

The festivities will begin on July 1st. I hope you don't miss out!

✧General Rules✦

Babusagi are a Closed Species. Outside creation is prohibited.
You can only obtain a Babusagi by adopting through this main page, winning a Custom Slot or purchasing a Make-Your-Own Slot
Trading Babusagi for other Babusagi or other Original Characters is allowed as long as staff have been notified.
Reselling Babusagi for any real life currency is prohibited.
Using Babusagi that are not yours without explicit permission is prohibited.
Gijinkas, accessories, and some design simplification is allowed. Complete overhauls are not.
At the moment you can have no more than 10 Babusagi in your possession. This limit will probably change over time.

↪ Customs no longer count towards this limit.
↪ If you hit 10 or more Babusagis all forms, including breeding tickets and/or competition entries, become voided until you are back under. You can trade when at limit but you cannot be gifted to, this includes unofficial adoptions.
Babusagi can be roleplay characters and/or fursonas, but only in PG-13 settings.
DO NOT harass staff members about due dates. They are people with lives and if life can keep you away from CS, it can keep them too. Reminders can be sent if a month passes with no explanation.
If a Babusagi receives 2 or fewer complete entries then the artist can extend the competition if they so choose.

↪ Posts with WIP left on them count as unfinished so be careful!
Harassment of any kind on any official Babusagi outlet (Adoptions, The Fanclub, The Roleplay, Staff Streams, The Official Ask Box, etc.) is prohibited and can end in a strike.

↪ Harassment over PM when evidence is provided may also lead to a strike when relevant.
Violation of any of these rules will result in a strike. After three strikes all of a user's Babusagi will be isolated and they will not be allowed to participate in the community anymore.

↪ This includes being unable to breed, use items, enter competitions or readoptions, or participate in events.
↪ Banned users are able to keep all of their Babusagi if they wish, they can also surrender them back to the staff to be readopted in official competition.

All general rules apply.

↪ Breaking any general or event rules may result in a strike.
You may try out for as many event babusagi from this event as you like, but may only win one(1).
Artists may award items in place of RUs and/or HMs for any contest in this event.

FAQ

How many event babusagi will I be able to enter for?
You can enter for as many event babusagi as you wish, however you're likely to only win one.

Do prompts only run for one day or until the next prompt is available?
Prompts run for only one day. However, there are quite a few prompt days, so if you miss out you can always join the next one!

What can I do with my Ginger Hearts?
Much like the previous event of this year, there will be an event store opening later on where you can spend your Ginger Hearts on potions and items for your babusagi!

Can Non-Owners participate in games/prompts/raffles?
Yes! While the items being given out as prizes are intended to be used on your babusagi, there will also be babusagi released during the event. As for prompts, any non-owners can use Hanakiko - the species mascot - in stories or art.

What does a Butterscotch do - in detail?
A Butterscotch switches a standard trait for another standard trait in that area. Meaning it could change floppy ears to nubby ears, or a curly tail to a short fluffy tail.
