what are avixian wolves?
avixes are a special type of wolf commonly found in the northern tundra or thickly forested areas. they are mixture of a wolf, fox, and an unknown animal that is believed to have several variants. avixes are about the the size of a small wolf, and have a sleek and skinny build that allows them to run very fast. their abundance of fluff keeps them warm in the tundra, ad their long ears are handy for listening for predators. avixian wolves are known for their passive nature, and are often kept as pets.

♥ make sure to check the staff's posts below, to see if an artist has their slots open before snatching one.
♥ avixes mate for life! if the owners choose to divorce them, they can mate to another but cannot have any more pups!
♥ any 2 avixes can breed! (male - female, female - female, male - male ect)
♥ couples must wait at least a week between breedings.
♥ avixes can breed up to 3 times.
♥ avixes must have been mates for a week before they can breed!
♥ pups can grow up after they've been owned for 1 month.

avixes cannot breed if,,,
♥ they do not meet the criteria above.
♥ you don't have permission from both owners.
♥ one or both parents are PPS.
♥ one or both parents aren't full grown.
♥ they're related.

pups can be,,,
♥ kept by one of the parent's owners.
♥ gifted to someone.
♥ put up for adoption in a contest.

♥ please do not make an orphan adopt without PMing me/sting rei first!
♥ use RANDOM.org to roll.
♥ roll from 1-100 (this helps with percentage)
♥ odd numbers are male, even numbers are female.
♥ there is a 20% chance for twins (identical twins do not happen). if the number is 1-20, there will be twins. if this does happen, roll again to determine the characteristics of the second pup.
♥ there is a 50% for edits to be passed down to pups from parents. if the number is from 50-100, the pup will have one or more of the parent's edits. artists can choose which edits to pass on.
♥ there is a 1% chance that the pup(s) will have a genetic mutation. if the number you roll is 33, then you may include a genetic blip in the design. these mutations can range from a completely different color from the parents, to different markings, to a special line edit.
