Getting their name from their very origin, the Ashkins have been around the world for years and years. However, they aren't easily spotted as they don't exactly favor humans. They live in snowy mountains where their dense fur and multiple tails help fight off the cold. They are very social and intelligent creatures, making them somewhat hard to keep. However, if you do succeed in having a strong bond with one of these beautiful animals, you'll have the most loyal friend forever by your side. Their necklaces, however, are still mysteries. Some people think that they are gifts from their ancient ancestors, others think that they are just somehow formed on their necks when adopted by a human. These theories are yet to be confirmed, and remains to this day an infinite mystery.
Their name Ashkin came from the earliest cavemen who discovered creatures dwelling in the mountains with fur resembling ash. However, nowadays, their fur color can range from bright blue to a rusty orange as evolution takes a toll. Their unique fur color is a result of human contact and by having more unique and attractive fur designs, it's much more likely for them to become adopted and protected.

Rarities
The rarity of an Ashkin is based on the line edits and how detailed their design is. Another key factor for their rarity is the amount of colors that the Ashkin has on it's fur.
(line edits are not always found on an Ashkin, there are certain amounts of them)
Common- [color=#808080]Common Ashkins will have barely any line edits, and usually won't be very detailed.
Uncommon- Uncommon Ashkins will very rarely have 1 or 2 line edits, and but will most likely have more details than commons.
Rare- Rare Ashkins may have at least 1-3 line edits, are very detailed, with lots of shading and colors used on their fur. They very rarely pop up in normal adopts.
Ultra Rare- Ultra rare Ashkins are almost never found in normal adopts, and are usually only found in events. They have may 4-5 line edits and they are extremely detailed.
Legendary- Legendary Ashkins can only be able to adopt once a year in one event, which makes them extremely hard to adopt. They may have lots of line edits, and unusually detailed fur, including intricate shading and patterns.
