"Kinx are a very unique creature, in that they feature various traits from many different animals. They are generally long furred, with a plush mane protecting their neck and chest. Their ears are large and thick, able to swivel in any direction, giving them an amazing sense of hearing. They have sharp canines set deep in their jaw, but no other teeth, as their saliva is high in acid which liquefies whatever they eat. Because of this, they have extremely long and muscular tongues that curl over in order to easily drench their food. A Kinx eyes vary from each individual, some having slit pupils and others with no pupil at all. The rarest and perhaps most striking is the eyeless trait, which is actually a small gill-like membrane in which they can sense movement from. This dosnt make their senses any worse off, as they naturally have poor eyesight. Large chests and high sitting hips give them a very flexible and muscular build, capable of top cardio condition. However their most defining feature is without a doubt their tails. The tails curl over their back and kink at the end due to a curled bone with a long spongy section of cartilage between, granting the species with the name 'Kinx'. Occasionally you will find a Kinx without this cartilage piece due to a mutation in their genes, in which case the tail will become paralyzed and will either curl around their back like a ribbon or be naturally docked."

General Rules

- You may own 10 first generation Kinx (normal adopts).
- You may own an unlimited number of nursery Kinx.
- You may own an unlimited number of event Kinx.
- You must wait 48 hours between each adoption. This starts as soon as you win one, not the time the artist created it.
- Please be kind and relevant on all forums.
- Do not use a Kinx you don't own without the owners permission.

Breeding Rules

- Eggs will hatch into an adolescent after 5 days.
- Though the young look like full grown adults, they will be unable to breed until they are 21 days old.
- You may breed your Kinx as many times as you wish.
- A Kinx can breed once every 60 days. If twins, you must wait 65 days.
- There is a 5% chance of twins and a 1% chance of triplets.
- Pupils will always be 50/50% chance of each parent's pupils. Heterochromia in the eyes is also common.
- Mutations and changed traits are up to the artist designing your kit.
- Any gender pairing may breed. In all technicalities they don't have a biological sex, but are fully capable of expressing gender and sexuality if they wish.

Artist Rules

- If you wish to do any sort of rare trait you must roll a die. If it lands on a number greater than 4 you may do it.
- It is expected for you to alter their pupils, you don't need to ask me about that.
- They may be any color or pattern.
- Adding accessories is fine and don't require permission.
- Be sure to judge contests on time and do so fairly.
- It is expected of you to hold non-owner contests at least once every two months.
- If you can't keep up in making designs and wish to quit or go on a hiatus please ask me first, don't just disappear without reason.
- You can make yourself a custom twice a year, make it count.
- Do not make other users customs without asking me first. I will approve if you can present a reason they deserve it, as customs will not be given out frequently.
- Make at least one adopt a month (hopefully more but, I understand people are busy)

Moderator Rules

- If you need any help at all please ask me privately
- Please keep the peace
- Let me know if there is someone causing trouble multiple times
- If there is an issue that's beyond me go straight to a CS mod
- Do not break site rules or adopt rules
- Keep all threads in order, not just the main topic

Archivist Rules

- You have moderator status technically, feel free to help out the other mods
- Contact me as well as all artists immediately if there is a number mix-up
- If someone posts on the archive message the player first, if no response go to a CS mod
- Keep up to date as much as possible, especially open adopts
- Feel free to bump open adopts that need more applicants
- Feel free to bump adopts that need to be judged
- Let me know if an adopt has been left open too long and I will judge it myself

- Lays large eggs that they carry in the kink of their tail

Habitat

- Prefers cool climates
- Cant stand humidity, detrimental to their health
- Enjoys being in social groups
- Family members usually stay together all their lives
- Wooded forests and mountain type areas are best
- Loves being around people and children
- Is somewhat pleasant around other domestic animals
- Always diurnal (opposite of nocturnal), dislikes being out at night
- Likes to burrow or hide in cave-like structures
- Needs very large amounts of fresh water for bathing and drinking

Referral Contest
-This is a contest where you will refer others for referral medals (). 8 bronze medals are worth 1 silver medal (), which can be traded in for a common myo or custom slot which doesn't have any line edits other than hair. and 3 silver medals are worth 1 gold medal. () Gold medals can be traded in for a uncommon custom slot or uncommon myo slot. Uncommons have up to three minor line edits and have all normal traits. 3 gold medals can be turned in for a jeweled gold medal () which can be turned in for a rare custom slot or rare myo slot. Rares have up to three minor line edits, two major line edits, and all normal traits.
(By normal traits I mean that the anatomy must stay the same.)
Before making your myo you must give me a description of any line edits you plan on doing so I may approve them.
