Welcome to the Snek adoption center. Before adopting one, why not learn more about them?

About

Sneks are reptiles, looking much like the reptile you know and love- snakes. They can grow up to 3 feet tall (wouldn't it be scary to see an aggressive one this tall?) and up to 15 feet long (don't let them act like constrictors)! They are carnivorous and depend on their senses to hunt. They do not have ears, but instead have tiny holes in both sides of their head only seeable with a microscope which are very good at gathering sound, since around that skin it's disc-like. Their scales are extremely shiny. Sometimes the shininess can blind those who look at a Snek. They have no arms or legs and therefore need to slither around to move. There are no records of a Snek with wings and there may never be one discovered with them. Domestic Sneks are very affectionate and loyal, and prefer to eat only steak. They have an IQ level of 95-100. They can be found everywhere on the world.

Rarities are easy to find. Just look at the color of the diamond shape on the ref lines. See it? That's the Snek's rarity!

Yellow: Common

Red: Rare
Green: Very Rare

Owner: The owner of the species and concept. Has all powers below plus the ability to ban users, the ability to accept more staff, and superior control over the thread and what it contains.
Artists: Additional users that have the ability to color in and create adoptables for all to enjoy. They can make an unlimited amount of adoptables.
Moderators: Additional users that have the ability to warn users breaking the rules about them. If the user breaks the rules, they must send a warning through PM to that user. If the user keeps breaking the rules, they must contact the owner with their account link, username, and behavior.
Guest Artists: Temporary additional users that have the ability to color in and create adoptables for all to enjoy, plus 1 custom. They are limited to 5 adoptables, stay as guest artist for a month, and may only make 1 of their five adoptables with line edits. They must have made 2 adoptables before making the custom.

Rules

You may not make your own Snek, these are a closed species, unless you're an artist or guest artist, or ordering a custom. However, you may make your own design on the artist competition (for artist) or rather on a MYO contest. (MYO contests are very special and only on special occasions will one be released.)
Do not steal someone else's Snek. A reason could be because you pursue its design or coloration, but that person may breed that Snek and put the Snekling up for adoption, or a similar Snek could be released.
Do not claim the art or the species itself as yours.
Don't make a fuss if you don't win the Snek you wanted; however, like the 'do not steal someone else's Snek' rule, the person who got it may breed that Snek and put the Snekling for adoption, or a similar Snek could be released.

Strikes And Bans

When you break a rule, you get a strike. If you keep breaking that rule, you'll go on the Greylist (get a temp ban). However, when you're no longer on the Greylist and keep breaking the rules, you'll go on the Blacklist (get a perm ban).
