Adopting and General rules
No offering of pets, items, or any other currency to an artist to increase your chances is allowed.
Please don't spam, making is okay but please stay on topic.
Don't mini mod please.
At the end of a adoption contest, if you don't have anything nice to say to the winner then don't say anything at all.
Be kind to everyone here please, no bullying of any kind will be accepted here.
Respect all staff and people here.
If you take your adopted characters off site you must give me and the artist who did the design credit.
Do not sell or trade your adopted character for any kind of currency.
If you would like to gift a adopted character to someone please ask me first.
Don't ask for customs.
Do not remove my signature.
You are allowed to request extensions if needed, but if you do use that time to work on your forum, don't request an extension and then not do anything with the extra time.
All of Chicken smoothies rules apply.
Keep any discussions child friendly.
Do not swear here.

Artist and Design rules

Neon colors are allowed, but only small portions of the Dager are allowed to be neon, such as nails, crystals, lamps, eyes, and small designs on the body.
keep body colors on the darker side please, no overly bright colors as the main body color.
keep my signature visible.
Respect your fellow artist and staff.
take your time on your designs please.
If your going to be unable to post designs for an extended period of time please let me know through PM.
Feel free to answer questions but don't mini mod.
Please make at least 1 a week.
Contests for your designs can be any kind of competition.
You must not show any favoritism to anyone or discriminate against anyone or accept Bribery of any kind, if someone tries to bribe you report them to me and show me some proof so I can do something about it.
If you are unable to judge a contest due to a friend entering or something else along those lines just PM me and I or another artist can judge it for you to keep everyones odds fair.
Please try to keep the deadlines for your contest with in 2 weeks of when you post your design unless it is an event or a extension is requested.

What is a "Dager"?

Dagers or DAG's for short are creatures that were bred from Badgers and dogs. They are about 3 feet tall with long tails that can have extremely sensitive fluff on the ends. The fluff along their back and head is all so extremely sensitive, which they use to sense when they are going to bump into a tunnel wall. They will eat vegetables or meat, though they will never eat anything bigger than themselves. Their eyes have very poor night vision, hence the fluff they have evolved onto their back and tail tips, this is all so why they carry their lanterns. The crystals in their lanterns are special crystals every Dager is born with and will keep with them in a lantern for the rest of their life. The crystals emit a glow that further helps the Dagers see underground.

Dager behavior

Dagers are tunnelers and burrowers, living in large burrows with the other members of their families. A Dager will find one mate and will mate with them for life, they will all so only breed with one Dager who has to be there mate. Once a mate is found both Dagers will leave the burrow they share with their families and will go dig out their own burrow for their new family to live in, but will dig their new burrow fairly close to both their old families, as Dagers are social creatures. Dagers are very protective of their babies, making it extremely rare for a baby Dager to be abandoned by its parents. Dagers are very friendly and bond nicely with humans, making them a popular choice for pets. Dagers are for the most part naturally patient and good with little kids making them great family pets. Dagers are very smart and can read and understand english. Though no Dager has ever been able to speak english as they lack the proper vocal cords.
