None of this information has anything to do with mlp: fim, it is all made up by me and for this adopt only.

Merponies are the sea dwellers. They are a peaceful people and don't tend to meddle in the affairs of others. Merponies like to keep to themselves, and are the most stoic of all the ponies. They don't often break the surface of the water, and therefore hardly speak to the other species of pony. Merponies can have wings, though they mainly use them for faster swimming. Because of their thick bones, they cannot use their wings for flying, even if they wanted to. Merponies are most often shy, quiet ponies, though there are a few oddball merponies who prefer to party up at the shore. A merpony's diet consists mainly of seaweed and small fish, though they have been known to eat "Shore food" on occasion. When they breed, merponies can have up to two guppies, but the most common litter number is one.

Dragon Ponies are the most energetic ponies around. Most of their talents revolve around magic, though there are a few with 'normal' talents. All Dragon Ponies can perform simple magic even without a unicorn horn, but it all revolves around a certain element. There are fire-breathing dragon ponies, Ice-breathers, Poison-breathers, Earth manipulaters, the possibilities are nearly endless. As long as it revolves around a certain element, there's probably a dragon pony with that power. The elements that Dragon Pony powers are based upon has so far been discovered to be: Air, Earth, Fire, Water, Poison, Ice, Love, Darkness, Fear, Sun, Moon, Stars, Supernatural. [if you've got a suggestion for more, pm me] A Dragon Pony's diet changes based on their element, but most have been known to love sweets of all kinds. As for the average character of a Dragon pony, well, that is nearly impossible to say. Dragon Ponies are all over the place, each one is very different from the next, though it seems that they share a few characteristics by element.
