First of all, I'd like to welcome you all to Teacup Bettas! I hope everyone has fun here. ^u^


Teacup Bettas are a recent breakthrough in science. Rather, a newly discovered breakthrough.
They've always been there, in the corner of your eye, that thing you thought you saw... That was just a friendly, finned friend, swimming around on another dimensional plane.
Their teacup acts as a sort of multi-dimensional portal, and the liquid is like their water. Don't be fooled by how small the container is; just like the TARDIS or that one tent from Harry Potter, it's 'bigger on the inside'.


We don't know! Why don't you ask them?
When scientists accidentally opened up a portal to their dimension (they were trying to get to the dimension of infinite pierogies, but whatever.), they swam through and into one of the scientist's coffee mugs. Like I said, nobody really knows why, but theories suggest that they just like to see the look on people's faces when they see a fish in their Chamomile Tea.


Teacup Bettas generally look just like Bettas from out dimension, in the fact that they come in the same colors. You're just not going to see a bright neon purple TCB with yellow stripes and green eyes. Sorry.
This, however, doesn't mean they can't come in interesting or never-before-seen patterns! ^^

As for their teacups, they tend to come in any shape/style that a normal teacup would. In fact, the only difference between the two is that one has a multi-dimensional portal and the other doesn't.
