What is a Paint Tailed Dragon?

These cute little creatures are no bigger than a Great Dane at adulthood, but despite their size they are rather social and friendly. Most of their body is covered in a silk-like fur that has a waxy glaze to it to keep it from getting wet; the rest of their body is short fur, like on their face and tail. They also have webbed toes. This species loves water and swimming, though they can't breath underwater, they really love it. Their ears are tall like zebra ears, helping them to hear another's call, which sounds a bit like a wolf call. This creature loves to eat just about anything it can get its paws on.Their diet consists mainly of fruits and meats, though they have a love for just about anything! This species hatches from an oval-like egg that will normally be covered in spots representing the baby's fur colors. Their fur is normally filled with colors of all sorts. Though uncommon, some have natural colors (but this isn't all that rare at times). They also have a paint-like substance that drips from their tail; this is caused from a gland that they have that constantly excretes this "paint" out of their bodies, as it is mainly a bacterial substance which could cause the creature to become ill if built.

Quick facts::

✧ Unnatural pelt colors are uncommon in this species, their fur is normally filled with bright colors and patters.

✧ All PTDs have a paint-like substance that drips from their tail tips; this is caused from a gland in their body that destroys Bactria and sends it out of the larger pores of their tail and drips down their long tail hairs. without this a PTD would become ill, however it is rare to see a PTD that doesn't have "paint" on its tail, these PTDs are either immune to illness or are filled with pestilence. It is also rare to see them with thicker paint that's like glue or thinker paint that's like water.

✧PTDs can also attract Peter Pan Syndrome (PPS). This means that they will not reach adult size.

✧ PTD's tail is as long as its body; but is uncommon to see it shorter.

✧ PTDs mate for life, and they breed for only once so choose their mate wisely!

✧ you may only own 4 adults and 4 child/PPS PTDs for a total of 8.

✧PTDs have zebra shaped ears so they can hear another's call that is closest to a wolf's call.

✧An Adult PTD is about Great Dane sized, as a pup they are only about corgi sized.

✧ A PTD's paint color stays the same its whole life and doesn't change.

✧ they use the paint from their tails to create distinctive patterns/markings to identify each other.

Diet::

This creature loves to eat just about anything it can get its paws on.Their diet consists mainly of fruits and meats, though they have a love for just about anything! some of their favorite foods is peaches, Apples, pears, and strawberries. fruits offer that natural sugar and juices that PTDs love, the natural acids in fruits also help to cleans their body of Bactria and helps to create that beautiful pain-like substance that drips from their tails. not all PTD share the same, each one is different with what it eats.

Behavior::

PTDs are friendly and social creatures, they tend to come right up to people or other creatures and be outgoing towards them. They love attention and they love to experience new things; they are open to just about anything. still, it is common to see PTDs that are shy or keep to themselves. even though the majority of their species is friendly and social.
