What is an Afridalis?
The Africanus Pardalis (Afridalis for short) is a donkey like creature that originates from and lives in the world of Lyphus, where humans do not exist, alongside the Lycaon Gryphus. Afridalis' stand around 15.hh to 18.hh tall, and weigh around a thousand pounds or a little more. They are herbivorous, and have an unsual immunity to all posionous plants, so they eat just about anything that is green. They can go several weeks without water, but that rarely happens because of the abundance of water sources in Lyphus.
Characteristics
Afridalis' have abnormally large ears, like a mule. The fur inside is always an unnatural color, normally bright and often matches their eyes. They have short legs like those of a stocky equine. Their build is thick, much like a Shire horse and their coat is around two inches thick. They tend to be more furry around their hooves, under belly, neck and chin. They have short donkey-tails as well and big four-toed hooves, like a deer. They have either short manes like a donkey or regular long manes. The Afridalis comes in all natural equine colors, and very rarely their base coat will be an unnatural color. Lastly, Afridalis' have any eye color you can imagine!

How to Adopt
To adopt you simply fill out the form provided on the page for the one you are looking to adopt. I just ask you don't adopt if you have less than 800 forum posts, and aren't going to be active with you're Afridalis. Also this is a wild species. They can't be ridden, and have equine tendencies, meaning they don't have pets and don't have accessories or things like that.
