~Shallraptor's Ancestry~
Shallraptor (sh-all-raptor) are calm, pretty tame, dinosaurs, unlike their decedents, the Velociraptors. Velociraptors were the complete opposite. Mean, vicious, wild, dinosaurs, the Velociraptors were. Velociraptors lived during the Late Cretaceous (85 million years ago). The Velociraptor was about 6 feet long and 30-40 pounds. Velociraptors had a very picky diet of small mammals and dinosaurs. Velociraptors had distinguishing characteristics. The Velociraptor had a low, tapered head with sharp teeth; claws on front and hind feet; possible primitive feathers
Shallraptors have feathers on their heads, but only the males. This proves the scientist’s theory about the Velociraptors feathers.

Shallraptors eat about the same thing as the Velociraptor, just instead of other dinosaurs, Shallraptors eat birds. They feed only at night, eating night birds and scavenge for meat. They can adjust to about any type of meat or feeding habits.
~Shallraptor Information~
Shallraptors grow to an average of 8 feet long, being longer than their ancestors. They are about 8 feet tall also. That makes them pretty big.
