Aucupibus Stellams (Latin for "Star Catchers") are small creatures that grant wishes. Once they become an adult they are sent up to the sky to capture stars that have been wished upon. They bring along a special satchel that can contain about 20 stars. Once they have filled their bag they fly back to earth to start searching for the owners of the wishes. If they find the owner they grant the wish then hang the star on themselves. Most only have 1-3 stars, but, there are some very determined AS's out there that have more! They are only allowed to come back to their family once they have granted one wish.

They are small, approximately the size of a large house cat. They have large wings and a mane that goes from their heads down to their rump then have large tufts of hair on the tip of their tails. They have soft fur to keep them warm, non-retractable claws, and star shaped pupils.
