What are Starfox?
Starfox are lanky fox like creatures who travel happily from planet to planet, spreading good luck and dreams to all they meet.
They have large, bat like wings and tough scales on their underbelly.
Being an incredibly large spread species, they are prone to mutation most common being black eye-whites and least common being a completely lightly colored pelt.
Mutations
Here I will list all discovered mutations and their availability.
Discovered:
1. Black eye whites
2. No bright flecks on pelt
3. Horns
4. Bright pelt

How is that even possible?
Starfox skin is really thick to keep their internal body temperature steady, it is covered in small veins that carry fluids that constantly create an exothermic/endothermic reaction to keep them safe from all extremes. Starfox have two extra pairs of lungs that are far larger than the ones they use for normal breathing (as a result they have an elongated ribcage) which they store large amounts of oxygen and oxygen producing bacteria.
Naturally this would be a huge strain considering the vast distances of space so most of them are content flying around their birth planet.
Nomads of space
No one can trace exactly what planet they are native to, and now that they have access to all these planets, they have begun to develop adaptations to help them survive on the planet they were born.
Egg: Size of a fist
Hatchling: Size of a large rabbit
Teenager: Size of a larger dog
Adult: Big enough for a larger human to ride.
