First off, I would like to thank thunderofthedrum for helping me out a bit with getting me to come add more to this. I'm sure as she (or he) was, you guys must be confused as well so I am going to help clear some things up. In this adoptable, if you are an artist, you will color in the lines that are already made. When you are accepted as an artist, I will send you a message saying what is what and what animal will go into what box unless of course you wish to mix it up. No artists will not be making fursonas as adopters won't know what is in their present until it 'opens', more information will be listed below.
Q: WHAT IS THIS ADOPTABLE AGENCY ALL ABOUT?
A: This adoption agency is about spreading holiday cheer and giving any user who wishes it a surprise adoptable in a present
Q: HOW DO I ADOPT ONE?
A: When there is a present created, simply fill out the form below and say which present you wish to adopt. All presents will have a number next to them so just write down the present number and then its only waiting to see if you win it.
Q: WHAT WILL BE IN THE PRESENTS?
A: Now I can't tell you that one can I? Other wise it would ruin the whole point of a 'surprise' present.
Q: HOW MANY CAN I ADOPT?
A: You can adopt as many as you want so long as there is a good number up to be adopted from. If there is a limited amount of presents up, you can only adopt 1.
Q: WILL THERE BE A BREEDING PORTION?
A: As stated in the rules below, there will only be a breeding portion if there is a significant amount of interest in these adopts. That means if there isn't than no, there will be no breeding.
Q: HOW DO I BECOME AN ARTIST?
A: Click on the Artist Competition above and start coloring in. There is an undecided end date but I'm thinking it will end when there is enough entries.
Q: WHAT DOES AN ARTIST DO?
A: An artist can place their colored in adopt either up for a payment adoption or up for a free adoption. However, you must follow what the artist wants in order to have any chance of adopting your desired present.
Q: CAN WE ADVERTISE?
A: Unless it is in your signature than no. However, you can PM me and ask me to be an affiliate then I will post up the banner you send me under a certain place and there is your advertisement.
Q: I NO LONGER WANT MY PET, WHAT DO I DO WITH IT NOW?
A: If you no longer wish to keep your pet, simply send the artist who you got the pet from a message saying why you no longer wish to keep it and they will place it up in the pound to be adopted out. Warning, once you give a pet up, there is no getting it back.
Q: ARE THESE LINES REALLY YOURS?
A: Yes. These lines are really mine. I spent the entire time I was away trying to perfect my drawing and although some do not look as perfect as it did on paper, I'm still pretty happy with how they came out.
Q: HOW LONG DOES A GUEST ARTIST LAST?
A: A guest artist will last for three weeks unless of course I offer them a position as a permanent artist. Then they will be an artist until they decide to quit.
1.) This event will only go on until the end of December, possibly halfway into January depending on how much people take interest in it.
2.) Only I and the artists will know what lies inside the present, you will have to wait to open it to find out.
3.) Some presents will be free if the artists and I decide to do a mystery present inside based off of a CS pet, so keep your eye out for that.
4.) There will be 1 special gift under a tree with a very special surprise inside it that will be much rarer than the other gifts, that will show up at totally random times so keep your eye open for that if you wish to get it.
5.) My artists and me have a busy schedule. I am in college and they have CS responsibilities and real life responsibilities outside of this agency, so please don't pester us on when something will be done.
6.) If you no longer wish to keep your Christmas present, send it back and we will place it up for adoption again.
7.) If you disobey mine and the artists rules, you will lose your present and it will end up in the 'pound' to be adopted out by another user, possibly even an artist if they like it.
8.) Do not spam this agency. If you advertise keep it in your signature or send it to me if you wish to be an affiliate.
9.) Do not complain if you do not get the special Christmas present, there will be more at totally random times so you have to keep your eye out and snatch it before someone else does.
10.) No foul language or insults to any members on this agency. Any foul language or insults will result in you being reported and banned from this agency.
11.) No arguing on this agency. If you have an argument with someone take it to the PM not here, we don't want to hear it or see it, thank you.
12.) Depending on how much interest we get in this agency, there might be a breeding part too, but only if a good deal amount of people show any kind of interest.
13.) Have fun with your present. You can use it for characters, fursona, or stories, just let us know what you wish to do with it so we don't mistake you for stealing it.
14.) Artists are to not remove my signature. You can add your own signature but leave mine there.
15.) Mods have the power to give warnings and report any rule breaker to me or the mods of CS and they can accept or decline a form.
16.) Guest Artists will be an artists for three weeks unless of course I like their piece of work and offer them a permanent spot. If you wish to be a guest artist, there will be an artist competition being held for only guest artist spots.
17.) There will be a separate artist competition for people who wish to try out to be a permanent artist, but remember, no guarantees are granted.
18.) Have fun, and maybe sometime we will even be hosting events
