Welcome to Feorx Adopts!
Please have a look around, make yourself at home.
Feorx's are very sweet creatures and love to cuddle with anyone, but if domesticated they seem to cling to only one person all of their lives. They are very loyal to their owners and will not leave them, if a Fex's owner dies the Fex will not bond to another human. The Fex must then be set free into the wild or else they will refuse to move until their owner returns; they have a natural instinct for survival and will live if let go all of a sudden. Fex's are also very playful and love to run and roll; at night they calm down and will do what they need to do quietly so their owner may sleep. Can you steal the heart of a Fex?
Features
Looks
A Fex is a hybrid between a deer and a fox; they have long snouts and their noses look just like those of a deer's. Their fur is slightly thick but yet still thin and completely insulated. The feet of a Fex are hooved, when they run it sounds exactly like a racing horse; but there is a faint jingling sound that accompanies the clip-clop of the hooves that lets you know you are hearing a Fex and not a horse. If there is not a small charm tied around a Fex's leg, it is not a real Fex; the charm stands for their skill or what they are the best at....or maybe even their personality. Very rarely the Fex's tail will be the main color of the charm around their front leg; it is not impossible but yet it is quite uncommon as well.
Size
Smallest:
About the size of a standing adult squirrel (11 inches)
Average:
Most Fex's are the size of a domestic cat (17 inches)
Largest:
The largest a Fex could grow to be is the size of a small dog such as a Chihuahua (2 feet)
Color
Fex's come in a variety of colors, but neon is very unusual and not classified as an acceptable color for a Fex. They are almost always the color of horses and are rarely the color of a deer or a fox; no one yet understands why they are the color they are.
Chestnut
Reddish-to-brown coat with a tail the same or lighter in color than the coat. Genetically and visually, chestnut is characterized by the absolute absence of true black hairs.
Bay
Reddish brown body color with a black tail, ear edges, and lower legs. Bay is one of the most common coat colors for Fex's.
Gray
Characterized by progressive silvering of the colored hairs of the coat. Most gray Fex's have black skin and dark eyes; unlike many depigmentation genes, gray does not affect skin or eye color.Their adult hair coat is white, dappled, or white intermingled with hairs of other colors. Gray Fex's may be born any base color, depending on other color genes present. White hairs begin to appear at or shortly after birth and become progressively lighter as the Fex ages.
White
Unpigmented skin and a white hair coat. Many white Fex's have dark eyes, though some have blue eyes
Black
Black foals are typically born a mousy gray but can be darker shades. Completely black adults are rare as they usually gray as they age.
Palomino
A yellow or gold coat, palominos have dark skin and brown eyes, though some may be born with pinkish skin that darkens with age.
Cremello
A cream colored body with a cream or white tail, blue eyes and pink skin are common in this color.
Seal Brown
Near-black body color; with black points, the tail and legs; but also reddish or tan areas around the eyes, muzzle, behind the elbow and in front of the stifle.
Grullo
Tan-gray or mouse-colored hairs on the body, often with shoulder and dorsal stripes and black barring on the lower legs. In this coloration, each individual hair is mouse-colored, unlike a roan, which is composed of a mixture of dark and light hairs.
Roan
An even mixture of colored and white hairs on the body, while the head and "points"—lower legs, and tail—are mostly solid-colored. Fex's with roan coats have white hairs evenly intermingled throughout any other color. The head, legs, and tail have fewer scattered white hairs or none at all.
Flea-bitten Gray
A base color of a light gray or cream consisting of multiple tiny brown/red spots all over the body. The skin is darker and the eyes are almost never blue. There may be a large patch of brown/red spots on the shoulder, or a full patch across one side of the face.
Pangaré
Pale hair around the eyes and muzzle and underside of the body. These pale areas can extend up to the flanks, throat and chest, behind the elbows, in front of the stifle, and up the buttock. The Fex's base color is usually bay or chestnut.
Appaloosa
Appaloosa is best known for its distinctive, preferred leopard complex spotted coat. Others characteristics include: mottled skin, striped hooves, and eyes with a white sclera. Skin mottling is usually seen around the muzzle, eyes, anus, and genitalia. Striped hooves are a common trait, quite noticeable on Appaloosa Fex's.
Piebald
Spotting pattern of large unpigmented, usually white, areas of hair, and normally pigmented patches, generally black. The colour of the Fexs skin underneath its coat is also pigmented under the dark patches and unpigmented under the white patches. This alternating colour pattern is irregular and asymmetrical.
Skewbald
A skewbald Fex has a coat made up of white patches on a non-black base coat, such as chestnut, bay, or any color besides black coat. Skewbald Fex's which are bay and white are sometimes called tricoloured. These Fex'ss usually have pink skin under white markings and dark skin under non-white areas.
Brindle
Irregular stripes extending vertically over the horse's body and horizontally around the legs. Brindle horses can also have a dorsal stripe. It usually does not affect the head and legs as much as the body, with the heaviest concentrations of brindling being on the neck, shoulders and hindquarters.

Adoption & Breeding
Adoption
~You have to have been registered for at least 1 month and have made 50 posts on the forums to adopt a Feorx
~There is no limit on how many Feorx's you may own
~You may enter for multiple Feorx's each day but you can only win one each day
~Read carefully through the first and last post of a Feorx's page before applying, make sure the Fex has not be adopted by another user before applying.
~These are free adopts but there will be a form for you to fill out for each Feorx, they will not be the same each time so read carefully.
~Gifting Feorx's is allowed but you must get permission from me before doing so, you may not enter for another user however.
Breeding
~If you get permission from two owners you may breed their Feorx's together to receive your first if you are having trouble adopting a premade one. Permission from the owners must be quoted when submitting a breeding form to an artist.
~Each Feorx has 12 breeding slots, if you try to breed a Feorx who's breeding slots are all filled the baby will not be created unless a slot opens up.
~You have to have owned the Feorx for at least a week before you may breed it to another. This will be checked before an artist accepts a form.
~Only order a breeding when the artist says they are open, all forms posted when said artist is closed will be ignored.
~Do not force another user to allow you to breed their Feorx, it is their choice
Information for Artists
~Males are called Bucks - Females are called Does
~Piebald is black and White - Skewbald is brown and white
~Use Lock Alpha when coloring
~Change the charm
~Do not use the same form over and over again
