ARCHIVE.NURSERY.
What is a Tree Gecko?
An Tree Gecko is not only a gecko X tree frog,it's a mutation gone wrong. They are often mistaken and mistreated by humans, which drastically lowered their numbers.Today, these small reptiles are found to rest in freezing water, they have webbed feet and gills which makes them excellent swimmers.Sometimes, you'll beable to spot them clinging and hopping in the canopy of the rainforest, but that's only in very rare occurrences. You think they don't have ears?Think again! Tree Geckos are able to hear with thier gills which are located near their neck and face. The gills will face the other way when its listening for sound. But,when swimming the gills remain to the right,as Tree Geckos cannot 'inhale' sound while swimming, just like humans cannot smell and sneeze.Anywho, being one of the mistreated animal mutations in the world, our specialists work hard to keep this specfic species alive, although we wont just give one to ANYONE because their saliva is very deadly and can kill a human once inhaled.Besides posionous saliva,Tree Geckos are not commonly known to bite, but i they feel threatened, they will inject you with their man killing saliva.
