They're nothing alike.

I've only just now seen your species, not even when I had these made, and the only thing I see is the fact that both the species earrings have stars on them.

Nothing else.

Okay, here is my opinion.

These "Star Chasers" have large differences compared to the OIWS. First of all, they have a huge tuft/fringe of hair/fur on their head, while the OIWS do not. The Star Chasers are small and chubby in stature, while the OIWS are slender and tall. The OIWS are much more wolf-like, while the Star Chasers are puppy or kitten-like. The Star Chasers have a lot of fur around their body. The star charm is pierced on the OIWS, and the Star Chasers are simply tied to the ear. Lastly, the Star Chasers have a tail while the OIWS have a variety of space-related tails or even none. And anyways, there are many adoptables space-related, so she shouldn't be surprised if they look similar anyways.
