What is a Chrysalis Dragon?;;
A Chrysalis Dragon is a large creature and is normally a friendly dragon that hatches from an outrage like egg. Their fur is soft and short, usually soft or natural colors, neat, and shiny. The fur feels like that of a soft rabbit. They have long, fluffy manes on their backs as well (Also know as their mane) it is pretty fluffy, and long. Chrysalis Dragons are mostly gentle and happy, but mostly keep to themselves. They can be very shy before they get to know you. Their diet consists of fruit as well as meat witch consists of mostly small mammals. All Chrysalis Dragons have three round gems on their forehead, the gem is used during mating season and of course their gems are used for their magic as well. They're all slightly bigger than a human but some grow to be as large as a full grown house or cow. CD’s also have feather like tails witch they use to keep balance when flying and their young will grab onto so they don’t get separated. their ears are like bat ears, they don’t really have any fur on them, only a very thin layer.

Thread rules in general;;

4. You may own up to 5 adult CD's and only 3 offspring.

About CD’s

Gem Magic;;
Well, each Chrysalis Dragon's gem can have specific magic’s according to what color it is. But in general all gems have the same magic as that of a unicorn (from mlp). Some magic’s are more common then others thou. C= common UC= uncommon R= rare UR= ultra rare.

(C)Red~ commanding and creating fire
(UC)Orange~ special healing powers
(C)Yellow~ summoning electric bolts/ absorbing and releasing electricity
(C)Green~ special plant growing magic
(C)Blue~ can move/bend water
(R)Purple~ normal magic powers
(R)Pink~ time, can time traval
(UC)Brown~ can move/bend earth and rock
(R)Black~ can control shadows and has dark magic
(UC)White~ can create ice and snow
(UC)Gray~ can change weather at any time
(UR) Rainbow~ All powers
(R) two colors (more then one power)

CD sizes (biggest to smallest);;

adult: Horse or cow sized
teen: average large dog/mountain cat sized
child: average small dog sized
baby/egg: house cat/outrage egg sized

- There are 3 common horn types: small, medium, and large. But some do not have horns, most females will either have small horns or no horns at all. Wail males tend to have medium or large horns. Males can also have small horns in some cases as well, and females medium. Small horns are uncommon, medium horns are common, and large horns are rare.

-CDs hatch from an outrage like egg. The egg shell's colors are normally a white or tan with small gray or brown spots. A baby CD is born with no markings, though a week after it hatches, its markings will appear.

-A few adult CDs have PPS - Permanent Puppy Syndrome. This means that the CD will not develop horns and/or it won't reach adult size. But in some rare cases they can grow small horns.
But its mostly when a CD reaches adulthood, and then its horns start developing.

-CDs rarely use their magic, unless for fighting or to protect themselves/mate/ or young. A CD's tail is half the size of its body. In some cases, it might be shorter. Their tails are needed to fly as well for balance.

-Some CD’s have wings, thou it is uncommon to see a CD with wings. Their wings are small but can still lift them off the ground. To fly striate or to fly at all CD’s need their tail for balance. If their tail is cut up or torn up they won’t be able to fly anymore.

- CD’s tend to live in packs of 3-8 and can make a home in any type of place (mountains, icy tundra’s, hot savannas, etc.)

Artist rules;;

1. You may only make one design every day.
2. Please let me know if you're not able to be active or continue as a artist.
3. If you have at least 3 unadopted CD's do not make any more until they get adopted!
4. Ask me before making any special/rare adopts.
{ This includes hair, custom lines, special wings, or anything out of the ordinary}
5. Make sure to know all the CD information before you make an adopt.
6. Make sure to count the CD numbers correctly.

Guest Artist Rules;;

1. You must be accepted by me before you're counted as a guest artist.
2. You're spot is not first come, first serve. I choose from how good of a designer/artist you are.
3. If your designs are liked enough, you may become a permanent artist. But this is not guaranteed.
4. You may be a guest artist for two weeks
5. If you already have a custom, you may not make yourself one.
6. No special CD’s or line edits
7. If you haven't completed the amount of designs allowed by the time ends you may not continue to design.

Custom Rules;;

1. Do not repost your form.
2. Do not beg for your custom to be accepted.
3. If your custom is not accepted do not spam about it or complain.
4. Do not request a custom that you cant draw at all
5. There will be no special custom CD’s
{Hair, custom lines, special wings, ect.)
6. Only one custom per person.
7. Customs aren't first come first serve.
8. Please put which artist you'd like on your form.

How to Adopt a CD;;

First, you must click on the oekaki version of a CD that you have decided you want to adopt. After this, you will look at the description and see what form you must fill out in order to compete for this dragon of your liking. These forms may include contests of anything from writing a story, creating the best name, making art, or even posting first! Hopefully you will be able to find your own very lovely CD soon by following these instructions.
You can also order a custom every two weeks, Customs are special CD's that YOU design. That's a first, right? Don't artists usually design them? Well, yes, they do. You just fill in a simple form describing what you want it to look like and then an artist will design it up for you once you have sent the payment. {{See below for more information on customs.}}

These people are the staff members that will advertise the thread with either creating banners, stamps, spreading the word, or just bumping CD places. (Always accepting more)

Assit. Judge
The assistant judge will help judge CD contests. She is available at request to help artists and GAs decide the winners.

Banned Members;;
These are people who have broken CD rules more than 2 times. Their CDs have been taken away and they can no longer adopt, be a GA, or participate in fun events. They are banned from everything CDs; including the RP and fanclub.

These are temporary artists that come into our staff for a two week period so that they can some CD's and one custom for themselves.

Stamps are a very common way for adoption centers to spread word about their lovely little shops. Members of the adoption center, adopters and staff alike, let other users here on chicken smoothie know about their adoption centers by putting these little things called stamps into their signatures. You just copy and paste the code below what stamp you like the best, or even all of them if you would like, and voila! You're advertising this adoption center!If you make any stamps PM me them.

What's a banner you ask? Well, basically like a stamp, just bigger. It's usually on the bigger side of pictures that you may put in your signature, but some banners may be slimmed down for different users' liking. Just the same as stamps, just copy and paste the code into your signature and you have that banner to help Advertise us!
