A Chubby Bunny is exactly what you'd expect... A chubby bunny. Their name comes from the fairly popular game, in which players stick as many marshmallows in their mouth as possible without choking or vomiting*.

Chubby Bunnies are a rather odd species of distant relation to rabbits. They come in several varieties, including flop-eared and big-eared, as well as various other possibilities that haven't been discovered yet. They are also relatively prone to mutations, meaning that there's always the chance of something new coming up out of nowhere!
Chubby Bunnies come in many different colors, with none being rarer than any other, but they have a maximum of six fur colors, though 3-5 is more common. It is extremely rare for a Chubby Bunny to have only one fur color, to the point that only one has been found in the wild, and even then, it was not documented or photographed.
Chubby Bunnies are herbivorous, only eating fruits, vegetables, and products of such things. They particularly enjoy sweets, but be careful about just how much they get, as they're prone to becoming chubby to the point of not being able to move if they overeat, which is never a good thing.
Despite their appearance, Chubby Bunnies can be incredibly fast, just like their distant cousins, able to run up to twenty mph for short amounts of time. They are also very good jumpers, often able to jump to about the height of an average adult human.
*We here at Chubby Bunny Adopts are not affiliated with and do not endorse the playing of this game. Seriously. If you stuff yourself so full of marshmallows that you choke and injure yourself or die, we are in no way responsible and will not pay for it.
As with any other adoption agency, we have our rules. Follow these, and everything should be fine!
Be respectful. Whether you mean it or not, we don't need any rude remarks or anything. If you're afraid it may upset or insult someone, hold your tongue, or try to find a nicer way to put it. This shouldn't be too hard to do c:
Don't try to bribe the artists or judges. Really, guys, we know a bribe when we see one. I, personally, won't do anything about it, and I will certainly accept any gifts being sent, but if you send a gift to the artist of a Bunny you're trying out for, keep in mind that it doesn't necessarily mean you're going to get it! I look for who I think deserves it the most when I judge, so I'd recommend spending more time working on the form and less time bribing the artists~
Do not steal Chubby Bunnies. You people have literally no idea how stressed I was when I made these. I hadn't saved them, and the internet was down. I had no way to ensure they would be saved. When it finally came back, over two hours later, my laptop was down to only six percent. Please, don't steal these guys c:
If you don't win, simply congratulate those who did. We don't need anyone complaining about their losses, or saying that the winner or judges did anything wrong. Just remember that there's always another chance to try out in the future!
Do not claim another person's Bunny as your own. Seriously, guys. There's an archive in the post below this. We can keep track of who owns what Bunny. Don't do it!
You may own up to four Chubby Bunnies. Exactly what it says on the tin!
Don't ask to be an artist, guest artist, mod, or other staff member. When the time comes, we will open applications and contests for these positions. In the meantime, just be patient~!
Do not use these lines to color in your own Chubby Bunny. Users will be added upon winning a Chubby Bunny so they can add accessories. If you are found making your own Bunnies through this, you will get in trouble, and that is that .3.
Stay on-topic. We don't want to get in trouble for spam or anything! Just keep off-topic discussion to a minimum and we should be okay!
When readopting a Chubby Bunny, keep these things in mind:
-You may gift it to another user
-You may put it back up for adoption
-If being put back up for adoption, one runner-up may be offered
-You may not sell it off for pets, money, items, etc.
-You may not profit from it in any way, besides freeing up a slot for a new Bunny.
Most importantly, have fun! What's the point of adopting anything if you aren't going to have fun with it? Go on, have a good time!
