What is an Ignis Lupus?
An Ignis Lupus is a large wolf with fire coming from its eye sockets and behind its legs. IL's are elemental, and almost every IL has a differant color of fire. They are, oddly, intelligent. They know how to speak human languages, solve puzzles, etc.
They are usually all blind and use sense if smell, hearing, and touch to get around.
Their fur is very silky and soft. They usually have large ears and wolf tails, but in some less common cases they will have regular wolf ears, longer tails, or shorter tails. In rare cases, they will have flopped ears and curled tails. ILs can only have up to 3 colors, but can have 2 shades of all the colors in one IL. (If i make a blue, grey and white IL, i can have 2 shades of blue, 2 shades of grey, and, well, one shade of white, because its white XD). But if your IL has 2 colors, they can have 3 shades of those colors. And if they have one color, they can have four shades of that one color.
In extremely rare cases, they will have more or less fire. And it also very very rare to have more than one element. That means they will have two powers and up to 5 colors.An earth IL would have brown, green, or grey fire. They can create plants and read minds. Earth ILs can ONLY have brown, black, grey, or green in it's fur. Earth ILs are usually calm, relaxed, and joyful in personality. This type is Uncommon.
An ice IL would have blue, grey or white fire. They can create snow, and breathe icy air to freeze objects. Ice ILs can only have blue, grey or white in its fur. Their personalities are usually cold, mean, and aggressive. This type is common.
A water IL would have blue fire. They can create water, their fire wont be extinguished by water and breathe underwater. They can only have blue or grey in their fur. Their personalies would usually be hyper, joyful, and immature. This element is uncommon.
A fire IL would have yellow, orange AND red fire. They can breathe fire, and are usually the strongest ILs. They can only have black, orange, red, and yellow in their fur. Their personalities would usually be aggressive, obnoxious and pushy. This type is Rare.
A light IL would have white fire, and they can produce light, and turn night into day. They can only have white, light grey, and light yellow in their fur. They are usually the most gentle, calm, nice, and friendly ILs. This type is rare.
A shadow IL would have black/dark grey, indigo or purple fire. They can make any day into night, and transform into a shadow and back to an IL. They can also read minds and teleport. They can only have black, purple and dark grey in their fur. They are usually very shy, mysterious, but are also gentle and relaxed. This type is very rare.Other info:

~their diets are almost the same as a wolves diet, except they sometimes eat berries and fish.
~Sizes:
Baby: cat sized.
Child: golden retriever sized.
Teenager: large wolf sized.
Adult: small pony sized.
~a IL can control how their fire feels to someone. They can make it feel just like normal air, or feel like regular fire. this is so humans can handle them wothout burning themselves. they will never use their fire to harm anyone, most of the time. An aggressive Fire elemental might, if they are angry.
~they live in mountains and forests, usually places where there are plenty of trees, berry bushes and streams.Rules:

-if you want to revamp your IL, you have to have owned it for at least 4 months.
-dont claim other ILs as your own.
-you may own 4. Staff may own 5.(staff includes mods, artists and the makers of the thread.
Do not ask the artists to change the gender, design or element in any way.
-never ask to be an artist, mod, or staff member. You WILL get a strike for this, because 1: you shouldve read the rules before posting anything and you wouldve read this anyways. And 2: it just annoys me. I will be holding an artist contest.
-when breeding, both owners must agree ,and the artist must have proof, before they design your baby.
For artists:
Please include a form for users to fill out.
Please include a set of rules with the form, an example might be: no extras, forms wont be accepted after page 3, etc.
Please dont hold the competition for more than 5 weeks.
You may make 2 customs for yourself.
Do not open little custom shops anywhere, i have customs under control.
When revamping, please dont change the original design in any way. Just clean it up a bit.
When revamping, you CANNOT change the element! Never!!
When revamping, you MAY NOT change the tail, ear or fur type. (Curly, floppy, fuzzy, etc)
When ageing, you cant make a baby or child directly into an adult. It goes baby, child, teen, adult.
It takes 2 months for the baby to become child, 2 months to become teen, and 3 more months to become a fully grown adult. (If the IL was posted as an adult Pay no attention to this rule whatsoever)
You may only have 3 up for adoption at a time.
Remember how many colors and shades you may have one the IL.
PLEASE dont make sparkle lupus's. they are too bright, and we dont want our adopters to be blinded now do we?Breeding:

Once your IL chooses a mate, it mates for LIFE. it CANNOT be changed.
Make sure both ILs owners have agreed on having a baby before you post a form on the nursery.
ILs can have litters as big as 3 pups. 2 is the most common. 1 is uncommon and 3 is very rare.
Second generation ILs usually only have one element, but its more common to see multiple elements in 2nd generation than it is in 1st.
iLs MUST be an adult in order to breed.
