- A Fire Griffin is a bird crossed with a canine, and has a large, fluffy tail. They are called Fire Griffins because the first one of these species found was the colours of flames. Over time, people discovered that they also breathed fire to help them a lot in their lives. They also use their tails to enable them to climb trees, by curling the tail around the tree as they go up. When escaping a predator, they can't always start flying fast, so this is why they have been adapted to both climb and fly. Fire Griffins have a special sack in their throat which lets them breathe fire. They cannot swim, or the sack will get full of water and they will lose their fire for life.
Fire Griffins are known to be a very friendly species, and are the ideal pet. They are big enough to ride, reaching sizes of Thoroughbred racing horses. Most Griffins also adore mangoes!

* Don't create non-existing Griffins. We will find out you have created a custom without permission.
* Don't overly revamp the Griffins. You can revamp them a little, but only with the artist's and my permission.
* No, you may not colour in gift lines to try and win Griffins.
* You can own up to 8 Griffins.
* There will never be any brightly coloured or neon Griffins.
* FG are never a completely solid colour. i.e black/red etc. as in, they won't be very bright.
* Have fun!
* Fire Griffins have a sack which holds their fire-breathing abilities.
* Fire Griffins have a pouch in which they carry around food, the egg and young.
* They use their fire to cook food, warm themselves, keep their newborn young alive and to also show off!
* Fire Griffins hatch from a small egg in the shape of a mango, hence their love for them.
* Dark coloured and plain coloured Fire Griffins are rare.
* Young will emerge from the pouch at the age of one.
* They always have symmetrical markings.
Sizes
Newborn- Hedgehog to chihuahua.
Child- Pomeranian to shiba inu.
Teen- Great dane to pony.
Adult- Welsh mountain pony to Thoroughbred.
To get a Fire Griffin, click on the one you'd like to adopt, and if it hasn't already been adopted, fill out the form provided by the artist!
If you want to put your FG back up for adopt, read below...
* You can do a little re-vamp and then put it back up for adopt.
* Gift it to someone who doesn't already have a Fire Griffin.
* See if the person who designed it would like to keep it.
* Put it up for adopt as it is and help provide a new form, and help judge.
* You cannot make runner ups for it unless you have a mod's or my permission.
* You cannot have a only a day-long competition. Give the contestants time to create a sensible form.

Note to artists
Please only make one Fire Griffin at a time until that contest has finished. We don't want the adopts to be overloaded! (This is PER artist. So you can make one Fire Griffin each, then another when the other contest has finished)
You are allowed to make one custom for yourself! It can be rare if you like (one/two coloured, dark coloured).
Note to Guest Artists
You may not make rare Fire Griffins. If you don't already own a Fire Griffin, then you can make yourself a custom, but not a rare.
You can make 2 Fire Griffin in your guest artist time. You may not be a guest artist for 2 weeks or more in a row. You can become a guest artist more than once.
Note to all artists and guest artists!
Fire Griffins can have a maximum of 4 colours!
You can put whatever you like on the form! As long as it's suitable!
Also remember to quote what a Fire Griffin is at the top of every adopt you make. Also post the number of the adopt in the title.
