What is An Ainokoe?-
- An Ainokoe is a large species of cat with small feathered wings. Although this species look quite capable of flying, they can barely lift off the ground. Their wings are too small in comparison to the body, and will only allow a Ainokoe to glide for a few short seconds at a time when there is a breeze. The jewel on the tail is on both female and male Ainokoes, and they glow during mating months in the spring to attract mates.
The young of an Ainokoe are called Aiki, but many refer to them the kit instead. The kits are usually extremely fluffy to protect them from the elements. The jewel on their tails are smaller, as it seems to grow with the Ainokoe itself. When a kit is born, it's as large as a fullgrown house cat, and when they reach an age of three Years, they are considered a young adult, capable of surviving on their own.
