Ophellidad Equnates:
{What are they?}
General:
Ophellidad Equines are equids that act and look like horses, but they have wings and horns. They have a curved horn, and have very large wings. They normally have natural colours and markings, but sometimes a uncommon or a rare Ophellidad comes along that has unusual markings. They have weaker backs than horses, so you cannot ride them. They are herbivores, they don't eat meat. They mostly live on plains, but some of them live in colder places.
They have a life expectancy up to 150 years old. Maturity is expected to be at age 7. Their wings are usually white, and their horn is brown grey, tan or white. Eye colour is Blue, gray, brown or could be white(Very Rares only)
Stallions( Male Ophellidads ):
They can range from 15hh to 17hh. (Hands High.) They can be up to 2000 pounds. Stallions have unlimited breedings. They normally have Bald Faces or Snips. They also have more unusual markings that are common in most horses. Such as This or This They are normally slower, and their horns are stronger than the mares to show dominance. They also have stronger wings.
Mares( Female Ophellidads):
They can range up to 15hh to 16hh. They weigh up to 1500 pounds. Mares have up to 15 breedings in their entire life. They normally have Stripe&Snips or Irregular Stars. But they could have any one of these. They normally have regular coats, as a horse would, but they could also have a rare mare come along or they could have an unusual foal by breeding. They have very shiny horns and fluffier, softer coats.
Foals(Baby Ophellidads):
Foals can be a variety of colours and or markings. They can stand up within 30 minutes after they are born, and can fly in an hour after they are born. They have duller horns, and they are softer too. They have duller coats until they reach maturity at age . They mostly use their wings to fly everywhere since their legs are weaker.
