Sinai Desert Dogs (or SDD) are desert canine like creatures who live in very hot deserts, or at maximum, fairly hot places. They die very easily in cold environments so they aren't fit to live in cold countries. This species was first found in the Sinai desert, which is located in an African peninsula. These creatures are very fast, and even though they have short legs, they compensate that with strength (extra pair of legs). They can be of any color possible, but it sometimes matches the place where they live. They ALWAYS have at least one tripe of any kind on their snout.
A baby SDD is born with just one color and no markings. Their color and markings develop as they grow, so the older the SDD, the more detailed their fur is.
Environment
SDDs live in most deserts and are found very easily, because they procreate very fast. These creatures are very sensitive to cold, so at night, when the desert is very cold, they bury themselves into the sand so they can keep warm. They are very strong and fast, so they can make a huge hole in the ground in just a few minutes. If they don't live in a desert they will search for one, or live in a fairly hot place.
Procreation
SDDs procreate very fast because they are HERMAPHRODITE, meaning they have both genders and can choose any SDD to be their mate. They often switch mates, and very rarely will keep just one for their whole lives.
They can have babies until they die, and have 1-2 babies at a time.
Lifespan
SDDs can live aproximately until they are 50 years old or more if they are able to resist the desert's
cold.
Anatomy and outside appearance
An SDD's anatomy is very fit to the high temperatures. Big ears with holes that help the heat out of the body, short fur etc. They also have an aerodynamic shape, their head is very long and thin, as well as their body. They appear to be a sort of canine species, even though they have avian like claws, strange ears and more that two pairs of legs.
Their colors sometimes vary depending on the place they live, but can also be totally unrelated to their environment. They can even have neon colors.
A baby SDD is born with just one color and no markings. Their color and markings develop as they grow, so the older the SDD, the more detailed their fur is.
Rarity
It is very rare to find an SDD with more that 45 years, because when they get old, they usually lose most of their strength to dig or hunt, and they either die of hunger or cold. They never get sick of anything though, and are very hard to kill even with weapons.
So, the older the SDD, the rarer it is. It is very common to find very young SDDs wandering around.
Growth
SDD's reproduce very easily, so you find lots of young SDDs wandering around. They grow really quickly, when they are at the age of 1-2 they already have their adult size. When they are born, they are most of the times left alone by their parents and grow alone until they search for a mate, at approximately the age of 10-15. They never wander around in groups because they don't need to, as they are very strong themselves alone.
