The name Farralf is a combination of the irish word "Farraige" meaning "Sea, Ocean" and the english work "Wolf." The plurrel form is Farralvi.
I discovered the first of this species on an island off the coast of the british isles. I won't tell you it's exact location, because they are highly endangered, but I can tell you that much. The island was currently uninhabited, and possibly undiscovered. This is the first of several new species I have observed there. (I will make adoptables of more of them later, I already have Spiolves up!)
I am currently reserching rumors of other subspicies of Farralvi.
They appear basicaly canine in shape, but have no ears or tails, and are un naturaly thin. In place of ears they have sencitinve nerves at the base of the finns sprouting from the sides of their heads, which can sence eyen the slightest of vibrations. Instead of tails, they have a fin streaching in an arc from their knees through their flank. (So far there are three options for the finns: Regular, Coral, and lobbed) They have gills over their ribs. Their eyes have no puple or whites, and glow, alowing them to see in the deeper parts of the ocean.
They only have fur arround their necks, and that is thick, filled with air, and covered in waterproof oils. The rest of their body is much the same as the skin of a dolphin.
Their coloration is rarely natural, and if often shades or blue and green, though it can just as easily be almost any other color. Many have markings tha give off a neon glow.
Farralvi are solitary creatures, for the most part. They mate for life, and always have pups in litters of two, usualy a boy and a girl.
they spend most of their life underwater, but come onto land to mate and give birth. I belive their territiory streaches into the see even as far as the americas, though I know for a fact they only surface near their island home.
