The name Spiolf comes from the word Spiorad, meaning Spirit in Irish, and Wolf. It was created by me, because I didn't want to call them Wolf-Like-Things-With-The-Creepy-Spirit-Things. I think thats about it.
I discovered the first of this species on an island off the coast of the british isles. I won't tell you it's exact location, because they are highly endangered, but I can tell you that much. The island was currently uninhabited, and possibly undiscovered. This is the first of several new species I have observed there. (I will make adoptables of those later...)
The Spiolf (Plurel Spiolves) has one major feature that sets them appart from regular wolves:
They have no souls or spirits of their own
Instead, they carry a spirit inside a cavity in there chest, sort of like a magical cage, that was somehow unattached to a body or object. I have yet to figure out how they capture them. Without these spirits, they have no will power, or control or even life. When a Spiolf dies, the spirit disapeares.
In addition, they have a long whisker like growth next to their eyes. This serves very different perposes for both genders.
On a female, this "Whisker" is very thin, reaching about to the base of their tail, and tipped with an orb filled with a similar substance to that wich fills their chest cavity. As far as I can tell, this is what they use to capture and hold spirits to give to their young. Females can only properly reproduce then this orb contains a spirit, if the ord is empty at the moment a pup is concived or at the moment of it's birth, the pup is bassicaly an empty shell, and will waste away within days.
A males "Whisker" is thicker than that of a female. Unlike that of a female, it grows over time, though it starts out about the same length. It is often used as a whip in fights with other males. I have not yet observed any other use of this "Whisker" in a male.
They are vary intelighent and often have accessories.

To breed two Skiolves, the female must first have captured a spirit for the Pup. You will get a spirit for free when you adopt your first Spiolf, or you can buy one later. You can either buy one using CS pets, in which case it will cost you 1 uncommon each, or with art, or with a mix of hte two (One user gives a pet, one makes art). Some artists might not accept certain options. Bought Spirits will only apply to a breeding between certain Spiolves, while free ones can be used bettween any two spiolves, but both users must have one. In the case that one user has a free one and the other does not, The one that does not have one must buy one.(Unless of corse your breeding two of your own) (PM me if thats unclear)
