-The History of Slithertails
In the year 1998 an Alien race was discovered living in mountainous reagions. These creatures were amidiatly named Slithertails due to their long tails that slither like a snake. The human race captured a few Slithertails and studied them. They found that these creatures were not dangerous to humans despite their spiked tails and jagged teeth. They were kept and trained as weapons, but refused to fight humans. Their soft and loving nature did not cut it. The Slithertails were then told to be destroyed. A few ezcaped, and made their way to humans. These loveable creatures then mass produced, becomeing a great pet. Scientist decided to bypass the thought of destroying them, and some kept them as pets themselves.
-Slithertail Traits
Slithertails can not see. They do not have eyes. They use thier long ears to hear many sounds not even a dog could hear. They have very sensative feet that allow them to feel the vibrations of the world around to "see". Although they have noses, Slithertails can only smell one thing- the mist of Slithertails. Every Slithertail has its own unique mist. This is how they tell eachother apart, or find mates. Slithertails have long tounges that allow them to reach far to get food. They eat mainly mountain plants and small animals such as squirrels and chipmunks.
Slithertails can be from the sixe of a small labrador, to a large cow
They can live at lost 43 years
-Breeding
Slithertails breed for life. They are very devoted to thier mates. They have one pup litters.
To breed your Slithertail go to the Breeding Thread, fill out the form, and an artist will breed them for you.(under construction)
You can breed two of your Slithertails, or with another Slithertail with its owners permission.

-How to adopt a Slithertail
Simply find a Slithertail you like that has "Adopt Me!" Written at the top and click on it. Fill out the form that the artist has created and wait till the results. Some artist may have first come first serve, others will judge each form and choose the best.
-Customs
Customs will be avaliable but only when there are custom slots open. Each artist will have 3 custom slots (for now, mabey more if we get popular) and the first 3 to post custom forms will be put in these slots. There will be no waiting lists, and if the slots are full and you post a form, it will probably be ignored. Sorry, but our artists dont have time to check for forms when they are making customs.

3. Do not steal someones Slithertail
4. Do not create your own Slithertail
5. If Slithertail fanart is created, I would apreciate it posted here as well.
6. Do not trade off your slithertail, if you dont want it, tell us and we will understand!
7. Most important, Do NOT be rude if someone else gets the Slithertail and you don't, you will automaticlly get 2 strikes
We have a 3 strike ruleing.
Each time you break a rule (accept 7) you willl get a one strike warning. Once you get to 3 strikes you will be banned for a certain period of time. When you get 3 strikes the secound time, you will be banned perminitaly.
