My flashlight died ages ago as me and my guide traveled ever deeper into the thick brush of trees. You cant see a single star twinkle from the ground for the trees block your sight form the sky. All I have been wishing for is some sort of light. So far this trip has been a total waist. The only runes we have seen where the ones in the small German villages where children danced and sang. We ran out of matches for every time we light one a very odd single gust of wind blows the flame from existence. Even my guide seems to be on the look out for something, as soon as we lit the first match and it blew out he cursed and claimed this the Dark Forest. I can see a faint aurora of light and my guide has gone off in search of it, I know whatever he finds will be just as cursed as the rest of this forest. "
