The bright coloured bird sat on the low branch of the pinetree.
Pecking at the pinecones and scraching his claws on the bark.
Night was falling so he spread out his delicate wings and sailed of
into the stormy, black night, seeing nothing more than black, hazed
shadows. He landed with a swoop on a little nest in a tall, leafy tree and plucked at his
fine, light blue wing feathers. Tiedly, as an owl hooted, he closed his weary eyes
and slowly drifted to sleep in the little nest in the tall, leafy tree.
