This is the most gorgeous species I've seen in a very long time. <33 I'm a huge fan of big cats in general and especially snow leopards, which these look a lot like. I'll definitely be stalking these. ;D Especially for purple ones... Although it looks like there's some tough competition for adopts..

I think the fluffy manes and tails, that they also have spots, the cat-like anatomy, and the fact they both start with the letter 'K' brings Kiamaras to mind when looking at these lovelies. -Oh, and you also have one in your siggy. XD
I for one don't think they look like Kiamaras that much at all. They're fuller and stronger as opposed to the dainty Kiamaras and Kias also look more wolfish..

Kias are wolf-based creatures, with a more ornamental look to them. Often with very bright, icy, or light colors as opposed to Koras, which I try to keep in the more natural or at least darker base colors. And like you said, they are fuller, stronger, and more feline. They have different spots (for the most part) and lack horns and feathers. The first draft of Koras did look like Kias (mostly in the face shape and pose, I did the face too narrow and it looked wolfish)

Also, I do have a rule against it, it has been in place for a couple days now. I recently underlined it so it would stand out more, but it was there for a few days now. People either don't read my rules before commenting, or skim right over that part

As much as I'd like to say, "Make that no saying Koras look like a copy of Kias rule huge and bold!" I think people would kinda be suspicious, not saying I would be, but some people do have thought like, "This person is saying that these things aren't those when no body asked them, that must mean they're hiding something." some people are like that, I believe you didn't copy, but some people will most likely always say things like that, it'll be hard to stop them if you can stop them at all.

In my opinion, these actually don't look much like Kias as some people keep overreacting.
First of all, not even the tail is too close, the Kia tail is much more smooth and smaller, but the Kora tail it bigger and slightly rougher.
Second, Canine /=/ Feline.
Third, they don't have special items that they MUST have.
Fourth, the Kia mane doesn't do down to their rump like the Kora's.
Last, the only thing really about them is tail TYPE, and spots, but the only spots that Koras have that look like Kias are the cheetah spots.

So you shouldn't let this bother you, at least you know they're wrong. :3

Look, I understand that you guys all believe that these species are different enough to be left alone, but this is not my opinion, and this clearly applies to other people. How many users have commented/PMed you about this, or mentioned that they look like Kiamaras? You are biased because you created them, and believe that they are dissimilar. Please think about this though. You have a ton of people telling you these are the same.

I am not accusing you of copying Kiamaras.
I am not saying you are ignorant.

What I AM saying is that you have made a species. It is [obviously unintentionally] very close to Kiamaras.
As you know the rules of CS, no two species may be exactly alike. If something like this situation happens, the species that was created first [in this case, Kiamaras] stays, and this new, identical species must be changed drastically so it no longer resembles the original, or deleted.

Please do not post or PM me saying that they are not the same.
I am quite frankly sick of people using the feline/canine thing.
Think about it in terms of this example - a species is made to have unique bat-like wings and a fish tail. It has the body of a large cat. A second species is made that has the exact same wings and fish-tail, but the body is that of a wolf. The second version is clearly a copy of the first - majority of traits still stand, and the fact that the species of the body has changed does not do anything about the fact that they are a copy.

In this case, you have not copied Kiamaras. The only difference here are the intentions, and the species, Kiamaras and Koras.
Saying that the base species are different does not do anything about the fact that they are similar.
What DOES matter here is not the little, itty-bitty details about your Koras.
It is the overall, obvious look of them. The species look very similar.
Both are mammilian creatures with four digitigrade ligaments and toes, elongated tail roughly the same length as the creature's body, fluff protruding from the tip of such tail [the part where the tail joins with the tail is exactly the same], a mane that extends along the part of the back, all of the neck, and flops over the top of the head to form a tuft that resembles hair; and lastly, both species have mandatory spot patterns focusing on the rump/base of tail area, shoulder, and facial area.

Specific details aside, the mere fact that they visually look similar is enough for most people.

Now, I see that you yourself are trying out for a Kia, correct?
You are a member of the Kiamara Community. We're all fans of Kias, Apple, and the likes.
Do you really want to damage Kiamaras in any way?
With Apple closing Kiamaras in the near future, people are more desperate than ever to get their hands on a Kiamara, or in this case, a Kiamara-like creature. By making this species, you are creating an easier way for people to get a "Kia".

Please take this into consideration, and act accordingly.

Do not pick apart my argument. It has been carefully constructed to prevent this, but even so. I do not wish for fighting. I mearly wish for this issue to be dealt with appropriately and professionally.
