Pack Territory Important Features(A lake, river, mountains, forests, etc): The Ghost Whisper Pack's territory is very strange. There is a river that runs down the middle of it. On one side, there is a luscious forest. On the other, there is lots of snow. On the forest side, there is a small clearing that is surrounded by a ring of trees. The forest itself is very dense. Near the north, there is a briar patch in which pups are hidden in case of extreme emergencies. On the snowy side, there are a few mountains, though not many. There is also a frozen lake that never seems to thaw. The pack believes if it is to thaw, then bad luck is upon them.
Winter Den and Rendezvous Site Location: Winter den is in the forest. It is in a large hallow tree trunk that has vines covering the entrance. The Rendezvous point is at the thinnest part of the river which is about the middle of the river.
Pack Traditions/Lore(Beliefs, important things to the pack): Once a pup's eyes open, they are sent into the forest where they must spend three days surviving by themselves. After that, they must spend three days in the snow and do the same. Females are highly respected in the pack. The pack is friendly to other packs that don't provoke them. Pups born with deformities and live are seen as a sign of good luck and are thought to be very strong.
Pack Structure(How it's run, openness to newcomers etc.):If a sick wolf enters their territory, they will help them get better before sending them on their way. The pack doesn't really accept new wolves into the pack if they are not their own. If it is a dire situation though, an exception will be made. In rank of importance of protecting, the alphas are at the top of course. However, instead of betas being next, the healer is. The healer is greatly respected among the pack and it is common curtesy to do a slight nod at the healer when seeing them. After the healer is the betas. Then the pups and elders. Then the hunters and lastly the omega.

Pack Territory Important Features(A lake, river, mountains, forests, etc):
The pack lives in the mountains where there is a water fall that freezes in the winter, and leads down the mountain to a lake where the forested area starts.
Winter Den and Rendezvous Site Location:
Their winter den is in the mountains where, despite the cold, the pack thrives in the warmth of a cave they live in. It has different openins and outcrops in the systems that they use to separate the ranks and food.
The Rendezvous site is near the lake where there are many trees that have roots sticking up enough for them to sleep in and organize the camp. Since the rendezvous site is in the forest, it is easier to train pups and find food for the winter here.
Pack Traditions/Lore(Beliefs, important things to the pack):
The pack like to focus on tradition and celebration of life and death. Instead of grieving over losses, they celebrate the new life they have elsewhere. When pups travel to the winter den for the first time, they place their pawmark on the cave walls to celebrate their new lives in the pack and to ensure they are always remembered. This is a very caring and family-oriented pack that is very welcoming of new ideas and ways to grow numbers or better the traditions. Blue Moon Hunters prays to their ancestors whenever they need guidance because they see them as more superior pack members for crossing over.
Pack Structure(How it's run, openness to newcomers etc.):
Blue Moon Hunters keeps very headstrong on their pack rankings and what entitles what. The alphas always get first pick for things and eat first, obviously, then next are the pups and mothers. This pack isn’t like most where the betas are right after the alphas, and they put pups and mothers next because they believe the young and ones growing the numbers are more important than those that aren’t. Betas are next in line for meals, though in gathering settigs they are second to have their say and the pup mothers and pups are second to last. The elders are next, right after the betas in both regards. Their wisdom through age is highly valued and they are treasured members. Warriors come after the elders, to always back up those that have served the pack for a long time and because they are stronger and can withstand more. After that are the apprentice wolves in training to be warriors/hunters. This is to teach them discipline and patience so they can better understand how important the pack rankings are and how it functions. Omegas are last for everything, though they are still treasured members like the rest. Any members taken in that weren’t born in the pack start as omegas and must prove their worth to become warriors. Immature apprentices get demoted to omegas even if they do not complete their training. The pack is very welcoming of new members but keeps a close eye on all new until they are certain that the new wolves can be trusted, through unanimous vote between alphas and betas.

Pack Territory Important Features(A lake, river, mountains, forests, etc):
Lots of trees, kind of colder temperature. Snow rarely falls, the ground just kinds of freezes over. A long river divides the territory, and it leads to a waterfall in between two large mountains. Only a small stretch of plains exists, and there is where the pack hunts during the winter. The area near the mountains has lots of caves.

Winter Den and Rendezvous Site Location:
- The Winter Den is a large cave behind the waterfall, accessible through a tunnel from another, smaller cave a few meters away. It's large and quite warm, said to be an abandoned cave mine from awhile back. The only source of light is small pockets of holes in the roof, but it lights it up enough.
- The Rendezvous Site is an abandoned lumber camp. Trees are fallen into a nice corner of camp, and dug holes under it make large enough concaves for wolves and pups to sleep it. The inside of one redwood tree is the Alpha's den, and is also where the runts sleep. Regular warriors sleep out in the open, wherever they can find a spot.

Pack Traditions/Lore(Beliefs, important things to the pack):
- Runts are actually appreciated in the pack, as the founder of the pack was a runt himself. If a litter is born with a runt, they are automatically destined to become Alpha. If you are rude to a runt, you will be punished.
- Females are key to the pack, treat them as so. Alpha Female is more important to the pack, and females of litters are more likely to be chosen than males.
- Food blessings are vital. It is said that if you don't bless your food, it will be poisoned or you will choke on it.

Pack Structure(How it's run, openess to newcomers etc.):
- Alpha female makes most of the rules, mostly asks the Alpha male for their feedback and protection.
- Rudeness to any members of the pack is forbidden. We are all family in their mind.
- If newcomers are accepted depends on how well the mating went during the winter. If a newcomer asks to join during winter, they will be turned away and told to come back near the end of the season.
- Hunting is more important than fighting. Normal wolves are taught more hunting tactics than fighting tactics.

- Why would you like to build a pack?: Well, I've definitely been eyeing these a while: mostly thanks to my good pal dave., but I've also really always loved wolves and liked realistic simulations (eyes all the simulation games I play) and I honestly think this is just a really rad concept I'd love to be a part of! Pack Territory Important Features(A lake, river, mountains, forests, etc): The territory is on a colder peninsula, surrounded by mountains and beaches. There are dense forests in the land, with multiple small (mostly frozen) rivers running through. The pack itself is nestled on one of the valleys from the mountain, close to the beaches: it is surrounded by trees and rocks. Most of the site is under ground in tunnel systems, made by long extinct lava tubes. Most of the camp is not visible to those outside: it can only be found by the wolves often standing guard outside the tunnels.
Similar to Yellowstone, it is prone to snow any type of the year, making a hot spring near the site in one of the lower parts of a valley a literal hot spot for the wolves to hang out in within the colder months.

Most of the important features would be the mountains, the valleys by the mountains, the many forests, the small rivers, and the hot spring by the camp.
Winter Den and Rendezvous Site Location:
Due to the cold nature of their location, the pack stays in their home the whole year. The rendezvous site is often the hot spring, due to how easy it is to find.
Pack Traditions/Lore(Beliefs, important things to the pack):
The wolves here have their own society: their own gods and their own traditions. They celebrate their own holidays and partake on celebrations exclusive to them.
They work on a more democratic system, and believe that each wolf has their part. While there is no "traditional" alpha omega system, there are higher ranking wolves such as the lead hunter, who help lead the pack through hunts and find food. They decide on who the leaders are amongst themselves, and the leaders are not self appointed. There is often seniority when it comes to these positions, but not always.
While there is no "traditional" system, they do believe that each wolf should have some sort of contribution to the pack: by relying on others for needs, the pack is strengthened as they are reminded that they cannot survive on their own. They believe in peace and harmony between the members of the pack, and in solving conflicts in the most peaceful manner.
Because of this, there is a certain part of unity in the pack: they will often throw themselves in harms way to save another, and they are all very close. They work almost as part of a hive mind, not working for the better of themselves, but working for the better of the pack.
One of the main reasons for such a dedicated pack is that they believe that any well experienced, kind hearted wolf is possible to leave a legacy akin to a god: so it is aspired by all the wolves to have such greatness that they too become a god when they pass.
Pack Structure(How it's run, openness to newcomers etc.):
As mentioned, it runs on a more democratic system, with leaders being elected and all wolves having a part. This leads to the leaders often being the kindest, most giving members of the pack: sometimes skipping food rations or doing double the work as another wolf might.
They are open to newcomers, but they are placed on a "trial" period with a mentor to see how well they fit with the pack. If they do not fit with the pack, they are asked to leave: if not, they are welcomed with open arms and treated as one of the pack. They also do take in wolves who were deserted, due to issues like being crippled, ill, or old: as long as they can hold a part of the community, even if it just means keeping the dens clean, then they are welcome.
