A bat's cry echoes down the corridor, riling up the other inhabitants.
The Receptionist shivered at the sound.

The receptionist pulls out a box.
It is black, covered in scale-like ridges and glowing with a pulsating rhythm as if it is alive.
It's glow is a pattern of red, violet, indigo and rose lights.

A small plaque on it reads "Suggestion Box", and he sets a container, made of a similar material, full of miniature pencils beside it, and then a pad of papers on it's other side.
He then sat down, jumping up as his backside landed atop Sussy's head, yelping out of fright.

Why... Just why...

The Breeder walks in, eyes drifting lazily downwards from the ceiling until they hit the receptionist. He smirks.

'Hey, babe, nice setup you got here.'

He's holding a green lead and walks in with a confident swagger and a natural cologne that screams "animal", his teeth were sharper than they should be, resembling that of a canid, and his eyes are wild and golden.
Despite his physical appearance, he is wearing an off-white button up, black dress pants, and a greyish-beige trench coat that barely reaches his knees.
His shoulders are broad and his arms are muscular, filling out the sleeves of his coat. His hands are larger than average, with leather gloves over them for... some odd reason.
The beast that followed him in was some amalgamation of a wolf and a bat, but had the lure of an angler fish atop his head and a set of jagged teeth, off white, golden undertones marking his age.


The Receptionist groaned, 'I'm a man, you know.'

The Breeder walked behind the desk and past the monochrome figure to his side of the desk, once he'd flopped down he leaned back and smirked, 'I know'

'I'm also your boss, mind you.' He waited for a reply, but didn't get one, and turned to his work once more.

The Breeder suddenly snickered, 'Dangerous, are we? I can dig it.'

The Receptionist gave him an incredulous look, a deep grey gracing his features and apparently complimenting his widened eyes.
'Ge-Get to work already!' He threw a file folder full of blank pages at The Breeder, which hit the other man in the face yet failed to phase him.
He still had that smirk on his face.

The gray man was dumbstruck, he made a frustrated sound and clenched his fingers in his hair, slamming his head down on the desk.
Hate hate hate hate hate.

He already hated this guy, this job, everything was horrible and awful and it sucked and just no, no no no, gods no.

The Breeder flashed a genuine smile for a moment before returning to his smirk as he pinned up a banner that read "Breeding Program now Available".

The new guy loved his job already.
