First, is it possible to have white brindling/barring?
A few other suggestions:
Having stripes/ barring on the main and tail would be awesome, whether horizontally or vertically. Also, horizontal barring of some sort, as well as some form of lacing.
Somatic is also a great idea, and gorgeous!!!
I'm not very helpful am I xD oh well!
Yeah, white is technically possible. I'm not going to mess with the genes that determine color any more than tinting. Basically, tinting works like this:
T = black, white, or slightly lighter of darker shade of brindle than the base coat
ti = another natural horse color
t = a faint shade of green, blue or purple.
As for the actual color within those categories - for customs, just tell me, for regular adopts it will be whatever, and for breeding, it will likely be similar to the parents or a combination of depending
I might add an on/off gene for vertical and horizontal banding, if people are interested? I like that idea

Lacing is possible and I am considering have it affected by some brindle genes or have it's own extra genes - not sure yet. Somatic I want to avoid but I have some cool ideas from Stumpy to make a sort of chimera-like variation of banding ^^
Thanks ToyMaker! <3
I encourage everyone to suggest genetic ideas for markings(even unnatural markings) they would like to see in this species. I will consider everything and we can toss around ideas ^^
