The idea of dragons/wyverns being associated with books and guarding libraries has been around for centuries and the 'general idea' does not belong to anyone specific.
The species itself looks nothing like yours either~

These aren't libraries you can ride or anything, they're manifestations of imagination, mostly (but not exclusively) found around libraries because books = ideas. They come in a number of different types, don't have any form of egg stages, don't have any of the same rules/restrictions as yours...

and I came up with this idea back in early January. If not earlier-- I just know that was the first time I pitched the idea, but it never panned out with them. It's a completely different concept, the only thing these seem to have in common with yours is that they've both got dragons and both have something to do with libraries.

I'm sorry you feel that way, Merry, but there are nothing alike other than the fact that they're both dragon-like. Your adoptables lack a lot of information to indicate that they are even similar to these. If you read through the information page of these adopts, you will see that these creatures are not really a solid creature, but more spirit like. They hang out in places such as libraries because they come into being because of imagination and creativity, and are not a "cross" between anything. These are also not hatched from eggs and grow like yours do. Yours are limited to colours, and their wings are limited to paper colours, where as these can have a variety of colour, markings, parts, etc because imagination has no boundaries.

I'm really sorry, but I don't see similar ideas here at all. I do encourage you to continue your own species, and perhaps build up a background story and habitat, as well as what more they're about
