Hello and Welcome Everybody!

I am excited to announce that I am the new and proud owner of Northern Lantern Dragons. I will try my best to always post in this purple color so its a bit easier to pick out my posts from all the others. There are a few things I want to introduce here in this post so please bear with me.

First is for everyone who has preexisting lanterns, I have opened up a transfer thread!! Here you can get your old lanterns made "official" again! Please note, that unless they are transferred to the new lines, they cannot breed and they cannot be used in NLD writing/art contests that may be hosted.

Secondly, I would like to invite everyone to try out to be in artist in our Artist Search Competition! This isn't ran like most artist competitions, in that you get to try again every few months or so because I will be running it in periods. Whenever a new period is announced, you have a chance to try again fresh! Please make sure you read all rules and understand mutations before entering (:d

Third, I would like to introduce a few members of our staff, who are supporting me in this endevour of owning my own adoptable species. First is ~Phantom, who is my second hand! They run the species Nytrons (which you should also totally check out, they just got new lines!) and I feel they are a great asset to the team. Next is our mod, Kaori Miyazono. She will help me make sure everyone is following the species rules and help answer any questions you may have regarding them!

Fourth, I am looking for another moderator AND an archivist! Applications are on the main page. You can fill them out and PM them to me if you want to be a member of NLD staff! (All NLD staff are paid in staff Creation Passes, which allow you to make customs!) I am also looking for banners/stamps for signatures, and anyone who makes one that I feel fits the species well will be paid in a Creation Pass too!

Last, but not least, the first Northern Lantern Dragon is finally up for adoption! It is a simple raffle, so I encourage you all to check it out!! Click the image to be taken to the page (:

Sorry to post again so soon after my last post, but we now have our grand-opening event up! I will be giving away SEVEN semi-customs! They do not count against your custom limit either, since they aren't "true" customs, even though you have most of the say in the design and colors. Click the image to go to the page!
