I groaned and blinked my eyes open. I felt sticky and hot, and sore everywhere. I tried the sit up, but instead felt a wave of pain in my neck and back right leg. I turned around to look for someone to help me. No one. My neck felt torn in half and a reached a paw to touch it, soaked. I stared at my paw horrified. How was I alive? I dragged myself into the forest and used damp moss to clean myself and my wounds. I lay there, letting the water sink into my sounds, soothing them, for the rest of the day. I spent the next week looking for my pack; there was not a trace of wolf around. I started wandering, hunting for myself, fighting other wolves and kronadors. The life of a loner was never easy on me; there was always a fight over food, or another wolf trying to steal my den. I was glad my father had been a very pushy father. Without his training, I wouldn't have survived. I constantly moved, due to the fact that I was always within pack territory, and therefore not safe. After a few months, I was in a den that had lasted the whole winter. I was skinny, but my thick fur hid it. Spring was starting; I was getting more food by the day. I stalked through the bushes, seeing my prey nibbling on the grass. My muddy-coloured fur was concealing me well. I exploded from the bushes, but instead of hitting prey, I smacked into another wolf's side. We both tumbled backward. "What do you think you're doing?! That's my prey!" The male wolf looked a little intimidated. But who wouldn't be? I was strong and lean, a hungry look in my eyes and had a scarred muzzle. Suddenly, another male wolf stepped out of the bushes. "Who are you? You are in my pack's territory." Even though I was a lone wolf, I knew that I couldn't survive much longer on my own. I explained to them my story; how I had lost my pack after they thought I was killed during a kronador attack, how I had to survive on my own... and how I was in need of a pack. Despite my bad first impression, I was accepted warmly into the pack, immediately sent to retrieve armour, for I was above the age that young warriors were sent on the quest and began a new chapter in my life.

Jikan walked out of the den where his brother and sister were, puzzled. Their mother, Athena, had just finished a story about Kronadors and how to fight them. He tried imagining them- blue-green, large, white manes, fangs.. He jumped at the thought, then shook his head, imagining it again, but this time, he aimed it at a stick and excitedly pounced, his tiny teeth digging into the stick's complicated barked and woody surface. His grey-blue eyes sparked with pride as he yipped, trotting in a happy circle with the stick still in his mouth. "I did it! I killed the Kronador!" Jikan proudly stuck out his chest and howled - or squeaked, if that's a better way to put it. "I am going to be the best warrior that Isket's ever seen..." He walked to a nearby tree and sat down, watching the birds and insects fly by. His brother and sister came outside some time later, and began playing. He flicked an ear as he heard their invitation to play- he was too busy currently imagining him and his family fighting the biggest Kronador and defeating it together, walking back to the Alpha to tell him the news. He sighed in satisfaction, distracted by his thoughts. "One day...." He whispered, tail thudding. "One day, we'll all beat that big meanie.."

I know it seems girly, but I chose this armor because of the saying 'Fly like a Butterfly, sting like a bee', which is just the type of WOI Jikan is- he's quiet, but his words (and claws/fangs) sure do sting.

Theme song: This is too majestic to NOT be a WOI's theme song. The thing that sold it to me as Jikan's theme is the bell-like music around 2:15-ish. That, and it's calm and quiet, considering the other Animusic songs that I've heard.
