There is no limit to breeding slots, however, horses can not breed unless thwy are between the ages of 4 and 15 years. Horses will also have a random chance to pass away from 16 years to 24 years of age, but they will all pass away by age 25.

It is an interesting Idea to have the horses die, i have seen adoption places were the creatures loose abilities when they age but never when they die, I am interested to see how this works out. Also, do horses age any other way than training?

As of right now, they do not have any other way to age, besides that foals age to a yearling after 1 week from them being born.
