Hello and welcome to Animals of Katrice! These are a series of affiliated adopts that are related by being set in the same universe, but are different in the species types offered. These adopts came from a roleplay that I have created and been apart of for years and I thought that it would be fun to have these creatures come to life for others to enjoy as well. As they were created in a roleplay there will be a roleplay aspect involved, but you are not required to join the roleplay to adopt these animals. It was just something I thought could be fun and I encourage you to join as the more people in a roleplay the more fun it is for everyone. Please take a look at the various adopts and have fun! In a place far, far away lie the Traviel Lands. These lands are large and vast with varying climates, towns and cultures. For years the lands had been in the grips of war with various people trying to claim power, land and authority. When everything settled two nations appeared. The nation of Lothiel to the West and the Nation of Katrice to the east by the Celedar Ocean. These adopts come from the Nation of Katrice.
The Nation of Katrice is divided into six areas all connected by roads called the Fay Trails.
Photas Dendron is the largest of the six areas and consists of coniferous forests. Though thickly covered light still seems to find its way to the forest floor and the White River runs through the southeastern part of the forest with many streams branching off from there. The capitol city, Pandarosa, is located in the center of the forest. In this area many humans live without know about magic or the existence of other creatures, when in reality Pandarosa is the melting pot of Katrice. In this forest many animals including Light Deer, Pandarosa Wolves, Katrice Panthers and Dendron Cats.
The next largest area is the Green Forest to the east of Photas Dendron. The green forest is also coniferous forest but is considerably denser and the air is full of magic. These are the lands of the Elementals. Most of them live in the well-guarded and hidden town of Vimars. Like Photas Dendron they also have Katrice Draft, Light Deer, Pandarosa Wolves, Katrice Panthers and Dendron Cats.
To the southeast of Photas Dendron is a small area called the Misty Lands. Here there is always overcast, fog, mist and rain and mainly consists of coastlines and wetlands. The delta of the White River is located here as well as three lakes collectively called the Lost Souls Lakes. Here is the small port town of Infidus Hudor. Here various people, creatures and items come and go with the tides of the seas. They have Mist Wolves and Light Deer.
To the south of Photas Dendron is the area of the Rolling Plains. Here are rolling grasslands and savannahs. This is mainly a human area with very little magic to speak of. Most people reside in the small town of Gapia. Here is where the Gapia Pony originated for riding, hunting, carriage and work. They also have the Gapia Leopard and Dark Cat.
To the southwest is the dark forest, a barren forest composed of dead or dying trees. They say only dark creatures live here or the ghosts of the dead. At its heart is the abandoned city Umbra Gaia which contains the Reaper’s Castle. Though it is a wasteland some creatures do still inhabit it including the Shadow Deer and Dark Cats.
And lastly is the Kingdom of Radohha. They are one of the last few elvish kingdoms and though they are located within Katrice’s borders they have their own set of rules and customs. Here you will only find Fae though sometimes there will be others passing through. The Royal Woodlands are composed mainly of oak trees and meadows filled with wildflowers. The city of Radohha is at its center with the Castle Mirveril. They are home to Radohha Horses, Light Deer, Woodland Wolves, and Dendron Cats.
