welcome to Ribon Okami adopts! after reviving this old species I made by creating a personal Ribon Okami, I thought other people would enjoy adopting their own Ribon Okamis, so here it is!
What the heck is a Ribon Okami?
Ribon Okami are wolves with ribbon-like appendages, generally called ribbons. the color of their ribbons reflects their eye color. there are three types of Ribon Okami.
~~
Indalla Ribon Okami

Indalla Ribon Okami have ribbons that grow from their backs, near their shoulders.
Naccia Ribon Okami

Naccia Ribon Okami have ribbons that grow from their faces, either from their muzzle or their cheeks.
Cula Ribon Okami

Cula Ribon Okami have ribbons that grow from their tails, near the base.
~~
Ribon Okami are cat-like, very agile and swift. they are able to move their ribbons freely, and often use it to capture and strangle prey. They also use their ribbons to attract mates and in fights for dominance.
~~
Ribon Okami's ribbons are always bright and usually neon colored. the most common colors are blue, red, and green. more uncommon colors are yellow, turquoise, and orange. rarer colors are pink, and purple. the rarest colors are mixes of colors, for example sea foam green (blue and green), blue violet, red violet, and etc.
sometimes Ribon Okami have minimal darker shaded markings on their ribbons. these usually appear on the ends or at the bases of the ribbons. it is not rare, but not common.
Ribon Okami can absorb their ribbons into their bodies for camouflage reasons. they can only absorb their ribbons for a certain amount of time, and when absorbed, they appear as markings which are the same color as the ribbons themselves. these are called ribbon markings.
Indalla Ribon Okami's ribbon markings appear on the back, sides, and/or neck. Naccia Ribon Okami's ribbon markings appear on the face and/or chest. Cula Ribon Okami's ribbon markings appear on the tail and/or hind legs.
